Pros: Nice looking Cons: Pants don't hold up
"The suit is nice looking and has protective reflective striping, but that is about all I can say positive. The first time I wore this suit, the pants litterally tore apart in the inseam area just beyond the welded seams. I wound up wearing them anyway and arrived home after a 10 minute ride in a light rain with a soaked rear."

Pros: Went over my clothes just fine Cons: Seems very thin, and could easily rip if you're not careful
"For the time I needed to wear it, it did what it needed to do, keep me dry. But it felt so thein, I was afraid I could put my fingers right through the material, so I would recommend folks being careful in putting it on. Unfortunately when it starts to rain and you need to cover up quick, people might not think about that. I would personally recommend looking for a better quality suit."

"I ordered trhe largest size they offered, the jacket fit fine but the pants are too small. I am 6'2" 245lbs. I have not needed to use it but the jacket was very warm, maybe that will be different once I am moving. But for a inexpensive insurance policy it should do."

Pros: Material is strong. Easy to order, staff was helpful. Cons: Should be able to buy top and bottom separately. Note that the sizes do run on the small side, so order up one size.
"We bought this rain gear to have on a trip we're planning, but ended up using it on a recent ride. Not only did it keep us dry, but it was great as a windbreaker."

"I used this raingear for 6 of 11 days on my recent trip.
When intact it kept me completely bone dry...and for 2 days I was riding in torrential downpour, hail and gale-force wind gusts.
Unfortunately the pants started to deteriorate on day 2 of wear...and not at a stress point, either. I bought them plenty large - I wear a small to medium in Women's - I purchased a Men's medium suit knowing that it would be going on over full gear...and I put the pants on before I even put my boots on...the seat just disintigrated. I was able to duct tape them back together, which was effective until day 6 when they disintigrated around the bottoms of the legs...but I suppose that was due to stress from putting them on with my boots on.
The jacket is still in great condition...which is why it's disappointing that I can't replace the just the pants...although the pants are not really large enough in the leg to pull on over boots - I wear European size 41 touring boots.
I am very happy with the jacket - I have fairly long arms for a woman (I'm 5'9") and the sleeves on the Men's medium were plently long and roomy enough, even over my riding jacket. Also, the reflective characteristics are excellent.
If you think you might wear rain gear often I'd recommend a more durable suit, but if your wet weather riding days are few and far between and you want a suit that packs up nice and small, I would consider this an excellent value."

"Nice outfit, fits a snug. I would have gotten a XXX-Large if you had it. I plan to keep them and give them to one of my riding team-members. I will be ordering another style in the some colors pattern."

"For the price the quality looks acceptable, although I have not had the occasion to need it, yet. The size is a bit too small. I ordered the small since I am short but for something made to go over other clothing, both the pants and jacket should have more room. The waste of the pants seems unusaully low."

"I ordered the cascade two piece rain suite (cas-250) silver and black, it came in just a few days, sooner then expected, it is light weight and comfortable. just right for my wife and I."

"The suit comes in two pieces, a top/jacket, and pants. They are thin vinyl material, but of decent quality, particularly for the price! The jacket features a large vent on the back, with a mesh, and an open flap, which will allow air to flow through. The colors are nice, the jacket features decent elastic cuffs, and waist. I haven't used it in the rain yet, but it is sooo much nicer fitting, and comfortable, than the heavy vinyl, one-piece suit I had, 20 years ago (which my father still has... and which he still uses). I paid $20 for the one-piece suit, 20 years ago, and this suit cost me $20, also. There the similarities stop, though.
It is somewhat disappointing that you can't order tops and bottoms, separately, but I still found that the fit was good. I purchased a suit for my wife, also, and we had to buy a larger size, due to the jacket size needed, but the pants have the elastic waist, so even though it was rated to fit a much larger person's waist, it still made a good fit on her.
The vinyl is thin, but this is an advantage: it will still keep out the rain, but it is very supple, and it compresses nicely, to allow for smaller storage requirements. I visited the maker's web site, to look for other models. They only sell this particular suit to JC Whitney. I think this suit is sufficient for my needs, and the price is excellent for the quality, in my opinion. I had no desire to purchase the manufacturer's higher priced suits. I bought the suits as insurance, should I be required to ride in the rain -- I have no plans to ride in the rain if at all avoidable. This is excellent 'riding insurance' for the money. Cheers!"

"I ordered this product first because I was looking for something that would protect me should I get caught in an unexpected rain. I received it and looked at the quality and it was very good. the fit was good and it proformed very well it is light enough and small enough to keep in my back pack for that one time you don't expect rain.
