"i agree with the other reviewers. a gift cert. to JC Whitney, especially for someone who shops here all the time is nice - but when you give a gift to someone you should be able to personalize it. otherwise it would make a great gift."

"I agree with the previous reviewers. The paper gift certificate took too long (10 days) to arrive packaged with the catalog, and it was in my name which made it awkward for gift-giving to my son's Godfather. Also, a gift card would have been far more "presentable." Although, we have been very happy with JC Whitney merchandise in the past, I would probably choose a different retailer's gift certificate in the future."

"While a gift certificate makes a great gift and this one of course is included, I have several suggestions:

1) Make it a gift card instead of a paper certificate - it will be easier to carry, and less chance of it getting destroyed, lost or thrown out.

2) I ordered it as a gift for my Significant Other, but it had my name on the certificate. You should either ask the name of the recipient, or not require to put a name on it (wouldn't be necessary on a gift "card"!).

3) Mail it separately from the catalogue - took too long to get here!"

"The only suggestion I would make - is to mail the catalog separately and mail the certificate in a business envelope. The gift certificate (with catalog) arrived 11 days after I ordered it. If it had been in a regular envelope it would have arrived in 2 or 3 days - in time for my husband's birthday!"
