Tailgate Cables Poorly made, July 12, 2009

Pros: cable middle good
Cons: ends pulled off

"I had installed them 2 hours earlier and my neighbor and I sat on the tailgate to visit...the outer ends on both cables pulled out of the crimps (were not crimped on good enough). Rather than pay again for shipping, I repaired them. (Recrimped all 4 ends)."

"Quick receipt of product and easy installation. Only thing I needed two and only received one. Ads not clear in directing to order two, all the tailgates I have seen have two cables to support the tailgate. Am ordering another "one" soon. Would recommend to anyone and everyone."

"There were absolutely no instructions included, that didn't bother me much but if someone is uncertain instructions are a help.
Other than that, these were exactly what I needed. I got two and within 5-10 minutes they were in place and holding up the formerly broken tailgate."
