"I worked for a large utility in Texas, and they needed a product that would stop the salt air from rusting thier fleet. we coated the same 1" thick slab of rusty metal with Mar-Hyde One Step and two other BIG name competitors, and let the metal sit outside in the scalding heat and Gulf Coast rain for one full year. the results weren't even close! the Mar-Hyde was the ONLY product that completely protected the surface and rust did NOT reappear. the other two products lasted about 2 mos. or so. This stuff ROCKS!"

"I have used the spray loctite and rustoleum products and they don't begin to compare to this. This is a thicker cream colored liquid that created a black, sandable rust resistant surface. when using the loctite spray, rust was present the next day. Not with this stuff!! The rustoleum spray goes on black, so its difficult to know if the rust was converted or just covered up. The metal cannot be rust free...this stuff chemically combines with rust to form the surface coating."

Pros: easy to apply, easy clean up, seals and covers-up rust Cons: doesn't come with applicator
"this product is amasing!!! i used it on severly rusted floorboards on my 1980 CJ5 Jeep. the floors were so rusted they had holes all the way threw the steel.it took like five minutes to apply and dried rapidly."
