It's cheaper than new fender flares.,March 17, 2008
By WranglerRev
Pros: It is easy to use. It refreshes that old, faded plastic. Cons: Some streaking.
"I used it on the fender flares and bumper caps on an '01 Wrangler. It's looks great. It may not last forever, but I believe I got my money's worth. Buy it; you will like it.
It can look a little streaky, but 2nd and 3rd applications help take care of this. I found the reconditioner worked well if you hold the applicator down (this releases the black dye), make a stroke, and then go back over it immeadiately without holding the applicator down. This helps to smooth out any air bubbles and streaks."

"I have searched for some product to repair the oxidation on the trim and bumper. Finally, this product does what it claims to do. It cleans the vinyl and rubber and the “Forever Black” then applies easily using what looks like a bottle to shine shoes. It kept its color for 11 months and yes, I applied it in February. I missed a spot on purpose to determine if it would continue to hold its color and it has. Great product and have purchased more for other items around the house."
