Cheap color enhancement for liner, June 4, 2009
By Davido from Bellevue, WA

Pros: Makes it more black
Cons: Hard to get the color even

"I love the tire version of this and have used that with great success. The bedliner version works less well. One issue is that you're covering a much larger surface so you get a bit tired. The surface also has more corners and places for the gel to catch up in. I used the kit on a longbed fullsize ford and the amount you could say was "just perfect" with no waste.

However, it's difficult to get it on evenly. While it's wet, it will look good and then as it dries you see the streaks where it was not spread as even as it could be. So it becomes a pain to get it properly spread out over the liner.

If I were to do it again, I'd either replace the bedliner with a new one, or pull the bedliner and get a brush on or spray in liner done. Or just live with a chalky gray bedliner.
