Hi volume sound quality very poor,November 12, 2009

Pros: Easy to install and wire Cons: Speakers cannot handle high wattage
"At lower volumes these speakers are OK. But at back road and highway speeds you cannot hear them well if you have the doors off - even with the radio turned up loud. I can imagine worse without the top on at all. When turned up loud they vibrate and distort. I am trying to find another solution for good audio in my jeep. I would not buy these again if I had the choice."

Pros: Great Fit Easy to install
"The product fit great and was easy to install. I already had some older speakers on the roll bar so the wiring wasn't a problem for me. I recieved them and put the brackets on and then went to instalation. I was amazed but in 30 minutes time i had them installed and the sound is great. The one thing that i wish they had was a dome light but i didnt purchase them for that. I would highly recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a great fit and great sound."

"1989 Jeep Wrangler..Really looks great and the sounds really rock. The only problem I have is that one 6" plastic speaker grill was broken. The covers are very cheaply made and poor quality. Still waiting for replacements after 20 days. Careful with bracket bolts as they will pull through the box if over tightened. Overall I'm happy but the grill issue needs to be resolved............"

Pros: This sound bar has amazing sound, I can really jam now!!! Cons: It doesn't have a light... but who cares, i have one eles where!
"I own a 1998 Jeep Wrangler and before I got this sound bar all I had were two unaffective speakers in my front dash. Needless to say with the top down, trying to jam was a fruitless effort! NOW however... i am rocking out with the best of 'em! installation was a snap and it looks very sexy!!! Thanks! I'm lovein it!"

"This sound bar does not say it comes with a light. It does not come with a light. I read some reviews that describe a light but neither JC Whitney nor the manufacturer describe this product with any kind of dome/map lights.
Purchased for a '94 Wrangler YJ. Installation is as easy as it can be. It does require drilling pilot holes into your roll bar. If you are impatient or 'not that handy' spend the money using one of the JC Whitney installers. I only specify the JC Whitney interface because - while I installed it myself - I researched installers and the ones provided by the JC Whitney shopping interface were the best priced by as much as $30 and were well-respected businesses in my local area.
Aside from those very minor inconveniences, this is an EXCELLENT sound bar. The speakers really provide you with excellent sound and it looks very sharp. The sound bar provides a MUCH better sound than the two speaker models by far. While the two-speaker sound bars get the job done, they are about as good as factory non-premium sound in most economy sedans. If that's okay for you, then the six-speaker model isn't worth the added cost. If you really like to feel every line of bass and hear crisp distinction between mid guitar and high crash and hi-hat, this sound bar is worth every penny."

"This sound bar is over all really good. It was so simple to put on and I have a 1989 jeep wrangler so I had to do some drilling which isn't required for a newer modle, which already has holes. The only thing I don't like about the sound bar is the lights, which really don't have anything to do with what I bought it for. So if I was rating the speaker performance I would give it a 5 out of 5. It has great sound quality. I really like them. The bar is also out of the way, its never a problem. The lights move back and forth to turn on and off. Its turned on in this one spot and doesn't put off much light. I would like that better if it was a button light to turn on and off. I would say if you want some great sound and easy insilation at an affordable price go with this sound bar."
