"Expected more for something custom fit. Instructions only told what not to do. Sound is good but looks a little cheap."

"This was purchased to put into a replica 1955 Thunderbird to simulate a manual tune radio. It is a "custom" product, with adjustable shaft's and faceplate to accomodate different installations and is set at the factory for the car. It also has a "logo" of the car manufacturer to compliment the look. My installer cautioned me about these expensive "retro" look radios before installation, stating that they were a cheap product, jazzed up to look nice and that they had had numerous units DOA in their experience with the Custom Autosound brand. They bench-tested it and found, it too, was non-functioning.

JC Whitney, however, stood by their customer service and had a FEDEX pickup of the product at my door the following morning. I have to say that is the BEST customer service I have had on a defective product. All thumbs up for JC Whitney, thumbs down for Custom Autosound and this radio."
