overpriced, August 1, 2009
By steelers

Pros: Its something
Cons: Not loud enough, overpriced, made cheap!

"I have a habit of leaving my signals on my 1300vtx honda since my goldwing self cancells turn signals. All this item is, is a cheap small dollar beeper in a plastic box that you can hardly hear on a HONDA! I do recommend buying it cause if it saves your life or one accident its worth it. Still looking for something better, disappointed!"

Pros: Loud enough
Cons: Wish is waited 10 seconds

"The product is exactly what I need. I was always leaving my blinker on. I consider that a real safety hazard. I have custom pipes and ride on the highway quite a bit. I can hear the beep whenever I put my turn signal on. Kind of reminds me of a gov't vehicle backing up - but I don't think I have to worry about leaving my blinker on anymore. Thanks!"

Pros: Only one available
Cons: Half-baked

"If you purchase, be careful about the backing! I peeled off what I though was just assembly excess silicon but it appears that peeling this off affects performance? Unit seems to variate from very high pitch to a lower pitch depending on fragile pressure exerted on back plate. My beeper can only be heard in slow, surface street riding. Absolutely useless at freeway speeds. Instructions minimal...made no mention of this. This device is way overpriced for what it is...but I haven't seen anything else. I am disappointed in lack of manufacturer attention that could be provided with just a little more literature and diligence on company's tech dep't. You probably should count on having to extend the ridiculously short electrical wires (another manufacturer oversight). For the price, you would expect top notch accompanying literature and finer detailing. If you purchase, don't peel off what looks like silicon stip on the back plate because that's all the adhers it to the unit. I installed this unit in the front faring area of my 2007 Yamaha FZ6. You will need to tap into existing turn signal wires. Plan on it beeping with emergency signals."

"Just installed this on my 2003 750 Ace and it works great! Well worth the money from a safety standpoint No more forgetting to turn off the signals as it is easy to hear. A lot less expensive than the auto signal cancelers.
Not that hard to figure out to install, the use of a simple volt meter was a help to determine which wires to connect to.( just slipped wire leads into wire connector) The adhesive strip made attaching the unit to the bike a breeze!
Highly recommend this product to anyone who has the problem of turning off signals as I did.....NO MORE!!!

"I just installed this and it is great, I was always leaving my signal on, my 07 klr 650 does not have push cancel and I can hear this thing through my helmet at freeway speed, loud but not too loud, so you can hear vehicles around you. I read the review before I purchased it and it said he got no instructions with it, the unit I recieved had the instructions printed right on the unit, easy 3 wire installation, 1 black ground and 2 red hots, pretty self explanatory even without instructions."

"Satisfied with the product but there were no installation instructions. Couldn't find any info on manufacturers web site. After some trial and error and some blown fuses, I was able to install it and it works fine. With no instructions you need a bit of mechanical and/or electical knowledge,"
