Pros: I like that they fold up, rather than back. Cons: Gotta keep them tight
"My old pegs folded back. Could see where they could be a danger in a crash, I like that these fold up instead. And they look good."

"I bought these as highway pegs for my 2007 VStar 1300 with the Yamaha Big Bars. They come with clamps for 2 sizes of bar and the larger ones fit perfectly. The only glitch was due to the way the bars are curved. It took a little thought to decide exactly where to place them for my best comfort. Due to the design of the pegs, they can be placed almost anywhere on the highway bars. These pegs have a good finish and look very good installed."

Pros: they fold out and in easily. look good. Cons: they twist. there should be a square socket that the peg goes into so they don't twist

Pros: Looks great Cons: Pain to install
"J.C. whitney searchs lists these footpegs for the 82 Yamaha Maxim 650 but they took a bunch of tinkering to get them installed. I had to completley disasemble the stock footpegs and drill out the retaining pins then file the new footpegs from J.C. Whitney to get them to fit. If you have the time and like to tinker then these will work."
