Nice Pegs, very functional,
June 24, 2009
By HAC54from SC
Pros: Large and seem to be good quality Cons: Wish they would make them for different models of bikes
"I Bought these knowing that I would have to modify them for my 2003 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. It took me awhile to get them installed. I had to drill out my stock peg mounts to accept a bolt the same size as the hole in the peg. I also had to grind down one side of the peg insert to get the hole to line up. I used a nut threaded on the bolt inside of the peg so I wouldn't have to make spacers and so I could tighten the peg down. Took about 2 hours (drilling out the hard steel peg holes took the longest) but was worth the trouble, it looks nice and is very functional...Would do it again!!, Hopes this helps anyone who is considering these."

Food for thought,
May 7, 2009
By Bulwinkl
Pros: Looks and works very well Cons: Weak mount
"Added these pegs to my super glide. As I was rolling backwards down a slight incline I caught the left side peg on a curb. It broke the mount at the bolt hole. After closer inspection I found the actual mount is pot metal cast around a soft steel insert instead of milled steel. Thus the cheaper price. They look good but the mount itself is weak."

Pros: look great, feel great, sturdy, Cons: require modifications if youre not on a harley
"both me and my bro just bought these for our bikes. i ride a mean streak, he's on a virago 1100. on my bike, i had to drill out the hole on the new peg to allow the pin to fit, add an extra washer and a spacer on the original peg mounting bracket. took a while to figure out but it looks great now. my bro had to file down one of the edges on the new pegs (not any part that would be visible without getting under the bike) to work with the original mounts. anyway, shouldnt be too hard for anyone to make them work with your bike, just takes some time and some improv."

Worth the effort!,
April 4, 2009
By RebelRouserfrom Detroit, MI
Pros: Comfort and style Cons: Difficult to install on some bikes
"I had to do some serious jury rigging to get these to work on my 2008 Honda Rebel. MAJOR PAIN. But it was totally worth it. Having my heels supported has increased riding comfort 100 percent! Plus, they look great. Another reviewer mentioned that the extra length means you have to watch your lean angle. I have had that same experience, but it's not a severe problem."

Will fit 2007 XL1200R w/ fwrd controls,
January 19, 2009
By DocJefffrom Media, PA
Pros: Exact fit with OEM 'Male-Mount' and Price Cons: About 1 - 11/2 " longer than stock - watch lean
"I just mounted these on my 2007 H-D XL1200R Sportster with forward controls. Exact OEM replacment using original clevis, spring and retainer clip. Should fit any recent H-D with 'Male-Mount' system. There are matching shifter pegs and pillion pegs avaliable as well. They are about 1 - 11/2" longer than stock 'Sporty' pegs so may have to watch lean angles. VERY attractive pricing."

Pros: Nice looking comfortable peg Cons: May require mild alteration for some bikes
"I put these pegs on a 1992 VT1100 Shadow, Just had to drill hole out to accomodate a 3/8 post, also needed spacer to keep in place. All in all looks nice and cost less than $60."

"I own a 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 and wasn't sure for the price that the footpegs would meet my high standards for quality to dress up my bike. The footpegs are excellent quality and definately enhance the appearance of my bike as well as allowing my to stretch out my long legs while crusing. I'd highly recommmend these superior quality, great value and easy to install footpegs to my fellow riders."
