"I put this in a 2003 Dodge Neon. It fit better than the old filter and seems like the car is running smoother since. From now on, I just need to remember to tell the oil change guys not to touch the air filter ... and to wash it once in a while."

Cons: faster acceleration, more torque,better sounding engine, less rpm's at higher speeds

"I put this in my 2002 wrangler. I put this K@N filter in place on the thick stock filter. the first thing I noticed was that the Jeep idled at a faster speed and that the accelerator became very sensitive. I took it out on a country road and put the accelerator too the floor. the JEEP took off like a rocket. It must have lost an entire second off of it's 0-60 and even after hitting 60 it continued to accelerate with ease. normally this Jeep is very sluggish on acceleration. forget about the expensive intake systems just get one of these."

"I have a Cherokee Sport 1998 with 120K mi. The car was doing fine, but with this filter (I purchased the regular version, just the filter element replacement) its performance improved dramatically. On highways, just caress the accelerator and it sails. In the city it is a lot more responsive and easy to drive.
Economy... In the city the improvement was tremendous; it scratched 20 mi/gal (it is a 4l 6cyl!). In the highway the improvement in mileage was less significant but noticeable, and in my view this in understandable, as to make 60 to 65mi/h it goes a little over 2k rpm, and would aspire easily with any filter (just mi idea about it). But it goes so smooth that it is hard to believe.
It is a tremendous product, hard to believe it took me so long to get it."

"I have purchased this same product for myself,and other family members, in the past. I still have the first one,for my 1998 Chev pick-up. It is still in great condition. I recently made another purchase for my Honda Accord.
This product is easly to install, and when maintenance is needed,it is simple, and convenient to maintain.This product, for me, has been a money saver and is outstanding.

"I just replaced my original K&N in my 2000 Nissan Xterra and it still looked ok after 75000 miles. That truck has been in every possible weather condition, burried in snow, ice, sand, and driven through swamps in Florida and the filter was still usable, albeit a bit broken down.

Can't go wrong for a 8 yr old filter."

"Ok I spent 45 dollars on an airfilter. It seems to help and the mptank has gone up slightly. If you want performance go to the intake and spend the extra, That you can really feel, as for me the 50 mile highway commuter this is my attempt on performance 1.5 hp gain (hehe)"
