What a Heater!,November 22, 2008
By Eddiefrom Napa, Ca.
Pros: Easy to install, very efficient heater Cons: None
"Wow! That pretty much says it all. This little heater really throws the heat out. I have it mounted in my '65 CJ5 with a soft top. Heats my Jeep just fine on low. I didn't order the flow valve, I am considering it to bypass coolant flow all together because the heater puts out plenty of heat even without the fan on (gets a little warm on nicer days, have to open the windows). Very pleased with the construction. Had to make two simple angle iron straps to mount it in under the dash. I found that on the second position of the switch, I get good defrosting capabilities, something I've never experienced before in this Jeep. I would highly recommend to anybody in need of some warmth in their vehicle."

Heater Kicks out heat!,April 26, 2008
By ChiefMercierfrom New Hampshire
Pros: Too Easy Cons: no mounting brackets
"Easy to install. Got a price of $450 from my tractor dealer, uninstalled. This has no brackets, so you will have to fab them. -20F, soft cab, T-shirt. Dosen't get much better."

"I have a 1994 Ford Exploder that I have stripped and rebuilt from the ground up. This heater came boxed up very nice. When I unpacked it the first thing I saw was that the sides (seem) of the heater were not lined up right leaving almost a 1/8? gap. Does not ?look? like it was constructed with care. Mounting the heater was a pain. The heater only has one mounting point on each side, which allows for very limited mounting options. I had to make a whole new mounting bracket to install the heater correctly. I did not order the heater with the Danhard Heater Control Kit as I am doing a custom install. I do recommend ordering the kit for normal installs. Now that the ?hard? part is over, the heater ROCKS!!! When I turn it on ?high? I have to roll the windows half way down because it gets too hot in the cab?It will keep you warm!"
