"Very easy to install. I don't know why I put up with holding up the hatch on my Jeep Cherokee for so long before doing this. Only 10 minutes of install time and it was like new again. I definitely recommend this product, for the price it is a great fix."

Cons: Cannot be used for rear liftgate even though picture shows the rear liftgate.

"DO NOT order these for any 2002-2007 Ford Explorer rear liftgate. JCW does NOT carry any for that vehicle."

"As stated by other purchasers of this product it was very easy to install and I should have done it earlier. My only suggestion to others that purchase this item and are going to install it themselves - - MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR HATCH SECURLY BRACED, Boy will it get your attention when it falls and hits you in the head."

"we recently purchased a 2000 jeep cherokee. we soon discovered the hood lifts didn't work. we went to jc whittney's web site. found the product and the great reviews. we also discovered this is a common problem with this vehicle. these replacements are great! my husband installed the new lifts in about 30 seconds. they are custom to the vehicle, so they fit just like the factory. we are total satisfied with this product."

"Propped the rear hatch up with a 2x4 for a year before I got around to changing the struts on my 1994 S-10 Blazer. Shoulda done it way sooner. Easy fix, less than 10 minutes. And my rear window defogger now works again, too."
