Pros: Makes steering the tractor easier

"This is the second spinner I have purchased. I use them on my lawn tractor year round, mowing in the summer and snow blowing in the winter. A spinner improves steering accuracy, decreases the effort required, and really helps when wearing gloves. The first spinner lasted 7 years, then the plastic knob shattered. This is not a defect, just the result of heavy use on a tractor with heavy steering effort. On a vehicle with power steering I expect one of these spinners would last forever."

Pros: It works and is durable
Cons: none

"This item's picture shows the folding version, which I don't recommend. I put it in a service van and was useful enough but it tended to fold down unintentionally at the wrong time. I now have the rigid model, identical except for the hinge, which also gives it a slightly lower profile up from the wheel and is better. I put two washers between the top and botttom clamp halves in order to achieve a clean, strong installation. Good product. Can't imagine driving without one."

Pros: Excellent product, very sturdy and dependable AS LONG AS THE MODEL IS THE FIXED POSITION MODEL.
Cons: I had to get this one to replace the folding model which folds at inappropriate times.

"I would recommend the fixed model spinner to anyone but would not recommend the folding model as it tends to fold at certain strategic times inappropriately and the holding pin tends to eventually work its way out. None of this happens with the fixed model. I have them on both of my vehicles and my wife even likes it very much."

"Installed pretty quickly with a socket wrench. I started using it right away. I have no movement problems. It is just easier to make turns- especialy sharp turns"

"Purchased this for my delivery van because of arthritis pain and WOW what a difference. This item is all steel construction except for the knob of course. Very strong and smooth to use. It took all of 5 min to install with a deep socket."
