Pros: Easy to install.
Cons: Don't look as nice as LED's

"I installed 2 - 42" strips on the passenger side and 1 - 24" strip on the driver side of my 2006 E-350 with factory running boards. Installation was quick and relatively painless. Just drilled a couple of small holes in the plastic and ran a wire from the parking lights and it was done. I've had them on for a little over a year and the amber plastic covers are starting to look a bit worn. Probably because the lights are a bit concentrated where the incandescent bulbs are. Another consequence of incandescent bulbs is that the ambient light around the bulbs is not as powerful as I hoped. I should have spent the extra money and bought an LED light strip."
