You Get What You Pay For,

Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor off-axis brightness, not suitable for angled windows.
"I got this for my winter car, a 1997 Thunderbird, which has a sharply raked rear window. I had been having fogging and icing problems because the defroster element goes above the 3rd brake light, and the inside cover prevents any air circulation there.
The plan was to rip out the stock 3rd brake light, and flush mount the new one up high. But because of the angle of the window and the depth of the enclosure, that option proved unworkable. It would have impeded my view, and although tailgating SUV drivers would see it, most others wouldn't.
The original mount for the stock 3rd brake light on the T-Bird is flat and slightly raised. The bottom of the LED light's case was also flat and level. I found that I could mount the LED 3rd brake light where the old light fixture was, using double-sided foam tape. I still have to use the stock cover, but I moved it 1/2" away from the window for better ventilation. The LED fixture doesn't produce any noticeable glare, even though it's not flush mounted."

Pros: Nice price, nice looking and probably works well
Cons: Advertised to fit a '94 Chevy S10 p/u, but doesn't
"This is a good product (which took a considerable amount of time arriving), but it does not fit my truck. If you remove the old high mount light, there's too much room on either side of this light to mount it. I should have measured the truck's light opening before I purchased the one I did. Measuring would have helped."
