Pros: lots of very helpful info Cons: tranny temp did not work for my truck
"if you have no factory guages this is a great buy. however i have all that and i wanted this to see trans temp so i would not have to run wires to tranny and all that. but it did not work for tran temp. all other basic features worked. i have a 96 chevy k1500. 98 and new will work but not 96 and 97. maybe scanguage can fix that some day. besides that it a great product great price free shipping. cheaper then scanguage website. quick install "plug and play"."

"Worked as expected out of the box. Very helpful for the prius since the car does not have an rpm or temperature guage(s). The other options like miles per gallon is also very nice."

"The Scan Gauge II reads and tells you so much information, information you didn't even know your automotive computer knew. More specific then the "Check Engine" light. The display color can be changed very easily to any color you like (7 Standard screen colors and a custom setting with 63 possible options)."

"This is for anyone that doesn't have a computer type readout in their car or truck. It does what it says. I was able to program it to monitor my transmission fluid temperture for when I'm towing my travel trailer. It saved me from installing a guage to do the job. It is also nice to be able to check my MPG while driving and a host of other things with just a push of a button or two. It is one of the best things I have bought for my truck. As stated in the ad it gives you a lot of info on whats going with your vehicle."

Pros: Great price for wah tyou get
"This installs in seconds. I have used this to challenge my two teenage drives to modify their driving habits to improve gas mileage. Hopefully that translates to safer driving. Its worked great. Dramatically improves mileage for both drivers. The incentive? The best drive gets the most drive time."
