Pros: the best among available models
Cons: deep snow lost, damage to the alloy wheels polishing

"I am spending my time here only with a hope that the manufacturer will address the issues below in future models so I can buy eventually in particular.
I believe the chains are the best one can get today at least for the price and among those I found.
I actually just got the second pare, because of the issue #1, see below.
The driving is much quiter as expected indeed and it's easy to put (I am stong enough too for the rubber ring).
Two issues although:
#1. On deep snow, especially going up, the rubber ring system is not strong enough to hold the chain in place - as a result you are loosing the chain and, if you are lucky, digging it back from the snow. The chains with a strong lock would be never lost at the same conditions. This is a price to pay for convenience of putting them on with the rubber ring. I believe the rubber ring should be replaced by metal system with adjustment
2. In my EXL Honda Odyssey the use of chains resulted in a scratch-type damaging of the alloy whells look. After some time of driving in the area of the rubber ring contact with the alloy wheel, the last gets a black contour due to sanding by road dust/sand. This is irreversible and this is not what happens with regular lock system. The alloy wheels do not look like new anymore. This perhaps depends on the alloy whells shape. Respectively, perhaps a center peace could be provided to keep the ring apart from the wheels surface."

Chains after 25 miles.

Pros: Excellent traction, excellent wear, no adjustments needed
Cons: Hard to install rubber tightener

"I used these chains on Mt. Hood (Oregon) on Christmas Eve '07. Being a mechanic, I know a little bit about tire chains. These chains are easy for one person to install, as long as that person is relatively strong. The chains hooked up quite easily, but the rubber tensioner that holds them in place is very difficult to install. It has to be stretched quite tight, which would be hard for some people to do (my wife can't do it). A quick release bar clamp (or similar item) would be great to help weaker people stretch the rubber to clip it to the chains. Once the chains are on, they work GREAT! The tires didn't spin or slip at all. I had the chains installed for about twenty-five miles, and they show no wear at all -- they could still pass as new! Overall, for a set of tires chains that can be installed in well under 10 minutes, and taken off in under five minutes, these are a great deal for the money. I have already recommended them to friends. Make sure to check out my video showing me installing one of the chains."

"I purchased two sets of these super z's for my 2003 Honda CRV
AWD. They're the fastest chains in the west for installing and removing, something we do a lot of in the Mountains of New Mexico.
There's no paddle wheel effect when you start and no slip when you stop. When you hit the occasional dry spot there's no thump thump thump.
Thank You"
