Pros: Can't beat the traction you get with these! I use these on front and heavy duty chains on the back, NO stopping me! Cons: a little bit harder to put on but not much
"I put these on the front of my bronco and regular heavy duty chains on the back when i am in DEEP snow and there is nothing that stops me! It's like a snow CAT! Snow coming over the top of the hood and plowing like crazy. Be careful though, with this much traction to the ground, something has to give, usually weak U-joints. As for the chains, my highest recommendation! If you want to go where no man has gone before in the snow, these are the chains to buy."

A world of difference,
January 24, 2007
By FromVirginiafrom Virginia
"I have a 04 F250 Diesel with the FX4 Off Road package. I love the factory tires in that they have great traction in all most everything from wet roads to snow and ice. With the exception of mud. When it comes to mud I think it would be hard to find a tire the has less traction. I went 98,000 (yes thats 98 thousand) miles before replacing them. (They pasted Virginia State Inspection about a month before I replaced then with the same tires). My problem was that living on a farm I needed traction when in the mud. After putting the “QUIK-GRIP BAR-REINFORCED TWIST-LINK TIRE CHAINS” on I can now go places in two wheel drive that before I couldn’t go in four wheel drive with out having to take the tractor and pulling it out of the mud. I would recommend these to anyone needing traction when off the beaten path"
