"I purchased & installed my kit about 8 years ago on my 1993 Chevy S10 pickup (I also purchased the extended fenders). The initial installation of the dually kit was pretty straight forward, but the installation of the fiberglass extended fenders was very time consuming fue to having to trim to fit the truck contours. At first I was very worried about the load on the extended bolts, but I am now amazed & impressed at how strong the installation is (I have certainly run up on my fair share of curbs with the outside dual). ***** SUGGESTION ***** Replace all the lug bolts on the rear axles before installing this kit so that you are starting out fresh and new all the way around (I didn't, and ended up with several broken lug bolts a few years back that made me very happy that I carry a complete set of tools with me at all times. Since replacing the lug bolts I have had no further problems). My only complaint is that as the tires have been changed and rotated throughout the years, I have found aligning the spool (hub?) to the extended lug bolts to be becoming more and more difficult (Perhaps it's time for new lug bolts again). The metal parts are also prone to a lot of fine rust. VKW 11/12/2006"
