This product does not work on jeeps, March 15, 2009

Pros: delay works after many moons of rewiring and retrying
Cons: mist action will not work

"After 3 ppl in the shop read the very "unclear" instructions, and after many moons of trial and error we got the delay to function. The mist action will not work if wiring wired according to the instuctions BUT if you sit and ponder for many hours and try different comb. of mixing the wires up you can get the mist action to activate the delay but will not shut off until you pull the fuse and pull the main power and let reset i do not recomend this product for jeeps at all, since i just notice that someone else already said that they could not get the same product to work properly on there jeep. We came to the conclusion that your car has to have a mist action to function. Anyways if you are still thinking that we just arent doing it right think again because it is 2am and we have been trying to make it work since 8 Pm the prevous day."

Pros: Works Great
Cons: case could be a little smaller

"Works great. Was moderately easy to install, wiring instructions could be a little more plane.
I installed this in a 86 Toyota pickup, the size of the case limited the installation locations. I had to reread the wiring instructions a few times to understand just exactly what I needed to do.
Over all though I love it. No more bumping the wiper button when its just drizzling."

"Installed in a Jeep CJ. Very sinple to mount the removable bracket to dash. Plenty of wire length. Couldn't get it fully functional in the Jeep, but it worked enough to get me by for awhile. I have the parts to build my own, and when I'm finished, this will come out. Build seem cheezy. Wires in with what seems to be 22 GA wire (splicing into the much heavier 14 GA wire in the Jeep)."

Pros: Hit button for one swipe of blade. Full intermittent capablity.
Cons: tricky wiring, but that's probably my failing, not the product.

"Had two of these on a powerboat and two on a sailboat. Found them after a long search for something that would give intermittent capability to marine wipers. Perfect solution. So good I purchased spares "just in case", but never had to use them."
