Pros: Quick & easy install

"A bit more cost than some of the cheaper ones, but well worth it! I've used 3 others over the years (all cheaper) and wish this was around then. Do put together and size it prior to drilling though. The 1" can vary and isn't necessarily set.

As noted previously, the rubber washers/spacers can help take up a little slack between the end pins and the socket they go into. It worked out good too as I was able to use 4 of the old bracket holes to enlarge for the new install.

Looks good and works great!"

"I finally received the unit after over a month wait. Seems JC Whitney did not have it in stock. I was just about to cancel my order when it arrived. That said, It was a breeze to install. The net is just as easy to remove to load the bed of the truck. It looks good and doesn't flop around."

"I found this product to be more than I expected. I had previously purchased two other nets from local auto discount stores for a higher price and returned them due to poor quality and involved to operate. The turbo net was excellant quality and installed easily with simple hand tools. It looks and functions great,has no sags and detaches in seconds to enable loading items from the back bed. It maintains its shape even at 70mph with no flapping or ratteling.I suggust that you assemble the produce and trial fit it to determine the proper height for mounting instead of just drilling 1 inch down as the instructions suggust. Everyone that sees this product is impressed with its quality and good looks. I have used its various configuations a number of times in the 30 days since installation and it is holding up very well, I even forgot to lock one pin causing the upper portion to detach from the mount and drove 20mi. at 65mph before I realized it with no ill effects to the product or vehicle. I would recommend this to anyone lookig to remove their old tailgate and are looking for a inexpensive substitute. I rate this product better than I expected. Wally."

"1988 Ford Ranger Turbo net cargo fence
This is a good product and I like it on my truck once I installed it.
I would suggest though that some kind of rubber shims be included in the installation parts. In order to have a snug fit once the holes are drilled, anchors installed, and poles fitted in those holes, one puts the pins into adjustable holes to make net fit opening of bed.
Unfortunately there can be play in the rod moving back and forth because the exact adjustablity of the pins in the holes don't take up the slack. I fit two 1" thickness rubber washers on the nonadustable end of the poles and that took the slack out of the rod and made the turbo tailgate secure to back and forth movement."
