"This automatic lock is awesome! I put this on my 2003 Silverado Ext cab about 2 weeks ago and it works perfectly! The kit came with everything needed, and there was plenty of wire for my truck, even with hiding and running it to look like a factory install.
The instructions were clear and accurate. I will say that the install was a little difficult, at least for a one person install. Especially getting the lock inside the tailgate and lined up with the handle. You could really use an extra set of hands when doing this. I did it myself but it took a couple hours.
This is by far the single best purchase I have made for my truck. Along with my bed cap, my bed is totally secure.
I love it!"
