Pros: Ease of installation
Cons: Short life span

"Product came with clear instructions and plenty of wiring, installation was pretty straight forward. I loved the lock until it stopped working not quite two years later!! I use my truck less than average around town (not a contractor) so was perplexed when it seized preventing me from opening the tailgate, had to uninstall and discovered that it was burnt out! Would NOT recommend this product!"

"This automatic lock is awesome! I put this on my 2003 Silverado Ext cab about 2 weeks ago and it works perfectly! The kit came with everything needed, and there was plenty of wire for my truck, even with hiding and running it to look like a factory install.

The instructions were clear and accurate. I will say that the install was a little difficult, at least for a one person install. Especially getting the lock inside the tailgate and lined up with the handle. You could really use an extra set of hands when doing this. I did it myself but it took a couple hours.

This is by far the single best purchase I have made for my truck. Along with my bed cap, my bed is totally secure.

I love it!"
