Best deflector I've ever installed, March 20, 2009

Pros: Hood clips every sturdy & well coated, deflector made of durable material, fast and easy to install.
Cons: none

"The clips mount in factory openings in the hood. I only had to remove 1 bolt on the hood latch that was in the way and put it right back after installing and tightening the clip bolt. The deflector bolted to the clips with no alterations. There was no drilling. A perfect fit. It took me about 15 minutes to install."

"This item is great. It seems to be high quality. I installed it on my '97 F250HD in less than 20 minutes. I love the look and the high-profile should make it easy to wash the hood."

Cons: Don't like the tape on my paint

"This Defelctor looks awsome and very easy to install. I do not like the face it uses adhesive to attach to the truck but it's an easy sacrifice when you see the finished product. I rated it a four for the adhesive tape. TIP: be sure to remove all the nuts from your grille completely don't over look the tabs. I broke mine because of operator error. I over looked the plastic tabs but was no fault of the prduct just take ALL THR NUTS COMPLETELY OFF to ecsure this does not happen to you. This product was very well worth the money I installed it in under 30 minues TOTAL."

"It took me all of 20 minutes to read the directions, find a screwdriver and put it on...it's that easy. It's well made too. It form fits the hood nicely and doesn't overhang or look clumsy."

"2006 F150 Lariat.
Not sure I wanted to purchase due to other reviews, but I took a chance. Glad I did. Looks great! Gets the job done. 4 stars for ease of installation-due to having to remove the grill on my new truck - but I like the way it fits. Better than putting it on with tape! Have had those fly off after a couple of years on my other trucks."

"This is a great deflector. It's the second one I've owned. The first one was destroyed when a huge chunk of ice fell off the roof and onto the hood of my 2003 GMC Sierra Z71 and took out one corner. I have friends that have L**d deflectors that were faded and cloudy after two years. My EGR still looked brand new until the day it was destroyed. That's why I immediately bought another one without hesitation. The directions were concise and the included parts were well designed and fit perfectly. The installation couldn't have been easier. I HIGHLY recommend this."

"I found this item to be of good quality. The instructions were clear and easy to understand.
Insallation took less then 30 minutes.
I was skeptical after reading the previous reviews but ordered them
anyway. I have had it installed for 3 months and so far the attaching
clips have stayed in place and I have had no problems."
