"I just purchased my new 2006 Ford Explorer in late August . I looked high and low for a set of window visors that would install in to the window track. I was informed about J C Whitney. Looked on the internet and found them at J C Whitney. The day after I recived them I installed them in about 5 min. time. When I came back into the house my wife ask what was wrong. Nothing they are on .
They look great they work great and add to the apperance of my Explorer. Thanks J C whitney for such a graet product."

Pros: easy to install, very securely attached
Cons: plastic quality is good, not great

"The in-channel version is great, it practically aligns itself on installation. I would recommend using extra wipes to thoroughly clean your window channel and working slowly if you have any doubts."

"Great product for my Durango, keeps the heat down to average inside while parked and keeping the windows open just right to maintain sufficient airflow throughout the vehicle, definetly recommended to all drivers to have such a product. No mess or residue on your paint job or wax. Easy to install and the tinting definetly helps keep the sun out of your face."

Pros: In channel means all the tape is hidden and no chance of the visor being crooked.
Cons: Have to let windows closed for 24 to 48 hours for the tape to cure.

"I am much more comfortable with the in channel instead of the outside visors because they align themselves. Very easy to install. Take 2 minutes to read instructions as they are actually written in English and make sense."

Pros: Easy to install, great looking, great working (no up and down interference with window)
Cons: One of my visors was broken upon arrival.

"These were SUPER easy to install, look awesome, blend well with the overall vehicle appearance, work just as they should, and offer no downsides whatsoever. I only gave it a 4 on quality/construction because one was broken when I got it. But read on.
My rear passenger side visor was cracked on arrival, but I had already installed the other three when I noticed it. I called JC Whitney and they replaced it with a WHOLE set! No questions asked, no waiting (they came 2 or 3 days later).
Phenomenal customer service, outstanding product = very satisfied customer.
Oh yeah, they are very flexible and strong, so installation is a snap. Really, my 8 year old could have done it!"

Pros: Very easy install, did it at 10:30pm, with no issues whatsoever.
Cons: I believe there could be a little more tape at the very front of the driver and passanger visors..

"JC Whitney shipped product within 4 days, for just $4.99 s/h!! Put the visors on within minutes at 10:30pm. There could be more tape added at the very front of the front window visors. The additional, long piece, that goes into the very front of the window channel near the mirror had almost no tape there and I plan on adding a little later. It has not stopped raining since I put them in and they seem to work great, with no movement driving on the highway. Definately increases the look of my 2002 dodge ram. Thanks JC Whitney for a great sale. Will be back to do business again real soon."

Cons: the way the product is packaged some scratching can occure

"Over all a quality product had the glue on the door widow visors on my 94 F250 and they work well and look good. However I bought the in the channel visors for my 2004 Ranger and they where easier to install plus if one where to break I believe these would be easier to replace."

"I bought this for my 2007 Silverado "Classic body" but the discription was rather vague as to wether it was for the classic or new body style. When it arrived the package said for 'New body style", I contacted customer service and I now have everything in process to get the right vent visor for my truck. Can't say enough about the excellent service that I recieved from customer service getting things straightened out."

"This is a great product. I got them yesterday in the mail. It took me 5 minutes, at the most, to install these on my 01' Dodge Ram 2500. I advise everyone looking for window visors to get the in-channel visors. Much better then sticking them to the side of a vehicle with 3M tape. Highly recommended. p.s. I would also recommend the bug deflectors made by the same company!"

"I've installed this product on at least five vehicles.....A '96 Sonoma, a 2000 F-150, a 2002 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab, a 2003 Ford Escape, a 2006 Mustang GT and have recently ordered a set for my '07 F-150 Super Crew. I have never had a problem...following the instructions and utilizing a little bit of patience will prevent any breakage or fit issues. I immediately install these on any vehicle that I purchase and I always buy from jcw.com for the best price going!!!!"

Purchased these a few weeks ago, installation was a snap [no pun intended], went in without any problem at all both front and rears. They look great, function as promised, and have to look and feel of top grade quality. Money well spent and no more wind/rain/snow coming in the windows. "Not a bad product but I had to trim the visor to get it to fit properly and the pre-installed tape was misaligned. A ford F150 is very common truck, it should fit better from the factory"

"I have bought a lot of stuff from AVS and Lund etc. I have been very satisfied. The ventvisors were not as good as I expected. Thin plastic and not very clear. I also get some additional wind noise. I have purchase several sets of in-channel visors from weathertech. I was happy with them except they are pricy. I figured I would try the AVS ones as they are cheaper and I have had good luck with that company on the past. Disappointed in the quality."
