Easy installation, May 1, 2009
By 45Gunner from Washington

Pros: Super easy installation, fits and looks factory installed
Cons: None

"I purchased visors for my two front doors only, not knowing what they will look like or how to install. Once received I installed them on my Tacoma in a matter of seconds. No additional parts or adesives, measuring or anything else. well worth the extra money. All I need to do now is order 2 for my rear doors."

"I purchased the vent sheild for a four door car. The plastic is very strong, had to deflect the ones for the front doors. When done it looked sharp on the car. I should have bought these thing a long time ago.

Deflector set for 2006 Sprinter van, November 27, 2008
By lfe37 from VT

Pros: Well made, good fit and directions
Cons: Shape and size not as pictured

"I bought a set of Weather Tech wind and rain deflectors for my 2006 Sprinter van. They are well made and the installation instructions were outstanding. The actual piece is "L" shaper to cover the top and the forward side of the window. This I had not expected. I had to move my outside mirror adjustment to avoid having to look thru the deflectors. I am not sure I like the shape of them. I wish I had ordered the US made ones instead of these that were made in Germany."

Looks good but.., November 5, 2008
By FincastleMike from Fincastle Mike

Pros: Looks good, easy to install.
Cons: KIA power windows too weak to push window past these items.

"I was delighted once I put these on, but to my dismay my KIA's power windows are not strong enough to push past these rain deflectors. Great for hand crank or a sturdier power window I'm sure."

Pros: Look great on my f250 supercab, easy to install, excellent coverage, no wind noise. windows work fine.
Cons: Don't buy the rear set for wing windows. They do not attach to track. they have to be glued to the window.

"I think this is a great product however on my vehicle the rear windows are the wing type that flip open. you cannot install the rear deflectors in the window channel as you do with the front. glue is provided on the deflector and you have to stick them to the outside of the window. first one fell off, i re attached it then the other fell off the next day. That was it for me. the rear deflectors are currently in my garage. Do not waste your money on purchasing the rear delectors, save yourself $20.00. The front work well and are worth the money."

Pros: Easy to install. Looks good.
Cons: High price, hard to close windows all the way

"I thought the price to be about $40 to high. Product installs fast and easy. Have to keep a 1/2" crack in all windows unless I carefully give a hard crank to get them all the way up past the visor. Looks good on the car though and having the windowed cracked open most of the time keeps air circulating."

"just wanted to say this is a great product keeps the rain out and allowes me to have air flow through the truck. In my work the rain stops us cold but we still need to advertise so we drive around with the logo on the truck but had no air flow unless we got wet. Now no problem can advertise and not get wet. the instal was quick and easy i did mine in the dark and had no problems the front just slid in place and the rear cliped in a little more diffucalt but that was expected because of the metal clips to hold them in place."

Pros: Factory installed appearance/sleek; they work!
Cons: None

"I recently purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe (2008). I love my vehicle and also love the outdoors and fresh air. A/C is nice but do not like having all my window rolled up, especially when it rains.
Although a little pricey for my particular budget I decided to purchase the Weathertech wind and rain deflector 4-window set. I had done numerous research with various companies and liked the idea of no glue or tape placement. I also chose this product based on the reviews I had previously read through JC Whitney. Let's just say I am not, in the least, mechanically gifted & managed to install 4 window guards in less than 5 minutes.
I also wanted to add that upon my initial delivery one of the 4 window guards had been damaged during shipment. I called JC Witney customer service and explained my situation. Their customer service was just awesome! No questions asked. Within 1 week I received my damaged winder deflector in perfect condition and with no additional charge. Now that's service you can count on. I am so impressed with the custom appearance these window reflectors provide. I have already driven in the rain and not one drop flew into my SUV and all 4 windows were rolled down appx 2 1/2 inches each. Thank you JC Witney for being a reliable and honest distributor and "Thank you" Weathertech for your superb "state of the art" product. I've already received 1/2 dozen comments and people want to know where I got them and whether or not they were factory installed. Thanks again! BJ"

Wind and Rain Deflector Set, July 22, 2007
By LIONHEARTED1 from Pennsylvania
Appearance: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5
Ease of Use/Installation: 4 out of 5 4 out of 5
Quality/Construction: 5 out of 5 5 out of 5

Pros: Great Appearance; Functional Use, Smart Styling
Cons: A bit more difficult to install than the manual suggests.

"Worth every penny. Installation on my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe was a little more tricky than the manual suggests. It involved a bit of twisting and bending to properly get them into the window channel. This can be nerve wracking because you're hoping they won't break, but they don't. Once they're in they look great and allow ventilation in hot and/or rainy weather. No problems with raising or lowering power windows. In fact, I installed them in the summer heat which I believe helped them form into proper position."
