Pros: Looks good with fully enclosed filter box. Cons: Installation could have a better fit
"I have had K&N in the past and this product looks to be made better. The fully enclosed filter box is a much better idea and looks 100% better. It was a little tough to make the installation fit right, but with some manuevering, it worked out. The fitting around the throttle body is kinda cheesy and could have been made better, but it seems to work. I haven't noticed any change in mileage after 2 tank fulls. I can feel the difference in acceleration, and it definately helps with towing our large travel trailer. Here in Colorado where the alltitude is over 6000ft, more air is a must to get more horsepower. this product helps without a doubt. After my order it said it would take 2-3 weeks for shipping, but I had it within a week!"

Pros: looks great, nice horsepower, easy installation Cons: not as great as i expected
"After reading the rest of the reviews i was dying waitning for this thing to come in. Horsepower really kicks in around 2.5 rpm, sounds good when accelerating with flowmaster super 40 dual exhaust. thought the throttle responce would increase but it didnt. I havent calculated mpg yet. Looks really sweet under the hood! Think I might add throttle body spacer to get a little more getty up."

"I have a 98 Dodge 2500 5.9 that I tow a Travel Trailer with. Both Gas mileage and performance inproved with or without Trailer. 2 miles more per gallon both ways and pulling a hill is were I noticed the big difference, had more troque. I was very inpressed."

"I recently installed this in my Jeep Wrangler JK (4-door) and it made a huge difference in the feel of the ride and sound of the engine. This product costs a bit more than other CAI's, but in my opinion it was well worth it. Don't skimp on the exhaust system and you will enjoy it even more. Jeep On!!!"

"I have purchased other intakes before, and they don't even compare!!! I am so pleased with this product I want to let everyone know. Everything about this product is great!!! The sound, performance, and fit are all top quality. I combined this and the new Flashpac from superchips, and now can spin tires like crazy, it even barks second!!!! I would recomend this to anyone who likes power, and great sound. I wish there were 10 stars, because 5 just aren't enough!!!!!"

"I got the Volant on a recommendation over K&N due to a tighter box, better tube, and better looks. I have a 2002 GMC 1500 5.3L with true duel exhaust. I paid about $20 more than I would have the K&N, but installation was VERY simple (took 20 mins), and the power increase was noticeable right away. It didn't have a whole lot of effect on the exhaust notes, though there was a slight difference. I've had it about 9 months, and have found it to be a good product that's easy to maintain with Volant's kit (cost is about $20). I haven't put my truck on a dyno, so I couldn't say with confidence exactly how much HP/torque it gave me, but being I did notice an increase (even with the extensive mods I've already done), I would say somewhere in the ballpark of 10HP."

"Man since I put this intake system on my 06 Sierra I've gotten some BIG power. This thing makes me feel like I can race a Corvette and out pull a Mack truck!!! If u want some easy power and quick truck get this. I have had them all K&N, Fram, etc. but NOTHING compares to this. And on top of that it make my truck louder than ever!!!"
