Great and simple product, June 12, 2009

"Thought I would add an updated review on this product. I drive a 94 Toyota pickup with 176k+ miles on it's 6-cylinder engine. I don't have great acceleration and my mileage is rather mediocre. (it is, after all, a 15 year old truck with plenty of miles)

This product makes no tremendous claims and is a rather inexpensive product to try to improve your mileage, so I decided to go ahead and try.

Installation was rather simple and straightforward....just find your fuel line and install it as close to the engine side of the fuel line as possible with the included zip ties.

I will tell you that while it may be in my head, I have noticed dramatically improved acceleration in my old beater! I have also checked my gas mileage over the past 5 fill-ups and have logged an average improvement of 1.5 mpg's in the city and 2.5 mpg's on the highway. With that said, this product will have paid for itself after 7 fill-ups and I will hopefully be doing my small part for the environment!

I heartily suggest anyone try it!!"

"I purchased two of these fuel savers. I put one on my 2003 silverado 1500 with a 4.8 and i gained about 50km. I put my other one on my 2006 Mitsubishi Outlander with a 2.4 and gained an extra 100km. They were both easy to install, overall an excellent product. Everybody should get one of these!"

"I have a 1999 chevy s10 4 cyl. and I was recieving 16-16.5 mpg, and now I am getting around 18 mpg. It improved my mpg and it was very cheap. My mpg went up about 1.5 to 2 mpg. It was kind of hard to install close to the fuel injector because my fuel injector is towards the back of my engine. Overall i would give it a 4.9 out of 5."

Pros: Noticed an increase of about 1MPG around town.

"I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab. I did a trip to Houghton and back, which I’ve done before and could never make it all the way home before haveing to fill the tank. I was able after installing the fuel boss to make it all the way home on a single tank of gas. Before I could never get 400 miles, now I got 423 miles and had over 30 miles still to go on the tank."

"We own a 2002 Crysler Voyager mini-van. In the summer of 2006 we took a 2000 mile summer vacation and our gas mileage averaged 21mpg. After the vacation, I installed the FuelBoss and in the summer of 2007 we took another summer vacation of approximately the same total miles through the same terrain and at the end of that trip our mileage averaged 23mpg. I made no other change so the increase of 2 mpg must be due to the FuelBoss. The only problem I had was trying to find a point on the fuel line to install the device. It is supposed to be located close to the engine but I had to put it adjacent to the fuel tank since the fuel line was not accessible anywhere else."

"Like all of the other sceptics, I was. How could a little magnet help with gas milage. It's not a huge increase, but I still got 2 more mpg. I bought another one for my wifes car. She didn't notice much increase,(maybe 1 mpg) but she has a new car, not one like mine that is 11 years old."

"I owen a 2005 Dodge 1500. I was getting about 10 to 11 mpg and about 270 miles per tank. I installed the Fuel Boss and noticed instant savings. I now get between 14.5 to 15.5 mpg and about 350 mile per tank city and 17 mpg on the highway. I was very skeptacle about the Fuel Boss but i figured for the cheap price it was worth a try and I am glad I did in one tank it has allready payed for itsself with gas prices the way they are. I would deffinetly recommened this product. I have allready gotten one for my wifes car and several of my family to buy one."

"I installed the Fuel Boss on my 71 Ford Torino GT which has 400+ horsepower and prior to installing the fuel magnet I received 11 mpg city and 14 mpg highway. After the installation the mileage went to 14 mpg city and 16 mpg highway. I drive this car daily and have had it installed for close to 1 year. It may not work for every application but on older cars without fuel injection this product works. 25% increase in fuel efficency is OK in my book."

""I have bought this product, recommended it to my college class (in a presentation), bought over 15 units for my family, friends, and for my self. So do you think I recommend and believe this product, yes is my answer.

Now if you're looking for a miracle, pray to god to give you better fuel economy. If you're looking for a product for better fuel economy, this is one of many.

If you're looking for "big" savings, then get a smaller car.

Now about the product, installation is simple and fast. I have installed this product many times for family and friends and every person "felt" improvement in some way; improvements such as faster, and/or smoother acceleration. The effects of the product can be felt instantly right after push the accelerator. From my experience with this product, older cars show more improvements then newer ones. Older cars with the product give the "like new" feeling.

Newer cars already operate at about 97% efficiency; therefore there is only 3% room for improvement. This means that 3% is not getting burned in combustion. People can say there is little to no improvement because a 1-3% gain is not very much (almost unnoticeable).

The beauty of this product is that it is interchangeable with all cars. Buy it once and then take it off and change cars. Most "fuel savers" are not universal, are one time use, or require some sort of permeate modification of the car.

So is the cost worth it? I would say yes. Because even if it only gave you .5% increase, added up over 50 years+, that could add up to thousands not to mention the pollution kept out of the air.

Multiple "fuel savers" do not give you better fuel economy. Remember, once you have 100% efficiency of the FUEL you can not get any better. And on that note, the bigger of the two fuel savers is not needed unless you pump a lot more fuel.

Mechanical efficiency also effects Fuel consumption. This includes the effects of flat tires, worn motors, dirty fuel system, added weight, and aggressive driving which increases fuel consumption. These things make the motor work hard and consume more fuel. Fuel savers just attempt to help fully combust all fuel used, not change the amount of fuel used.

Like my parents always tell me about food, "you don't know if you don't like it till you try it."

So you say this to you, prospective buyers, "do not say it dose not work until you try it."
For the price and effectiveness, I believe this is one of the best fuel savers and worth a try.

P.S. If you do buy the product, drive the car around to get a feel for it then put the product on (being careful with the hot components) and take it for a test drive.""
