Pros: Fast delivery, perfect fit
Cons: Wish it had the felt strap protector like OEM

"Was in a pinch when my original tank rusted on my 92 S-10 Blazer, which I hadn't realized till I was replacing my fuel pump. Ordered online and it was there by the end of the week. Excellent quality, perfect tight fit...but had to use duct tape to protect tank from the straps and lower bracket rubbing the tank."

"The old tank was harder to take out thenthe new one to put in. I had trouble getting the electic connection apart, not being familiar with that type. The new tank fit perfectly, everything is working great."

Pros: perfect match

"I ordered the tank to replace my old rusty one, it was a perfect match. the tank does seem to be a little different metal thickness, but not a problem..i also only filled the tank with 18.6 gals of gas, so it draws a little short of 19 gals. The fit was nice and easy and the installation was a breeze. i sand blasted my old brackets and straps and everything went together quick and easy. The shipping was prompt and good, and i could tract the location every day...Thanks again for your help. big G"

Pros: Exact replacement for the original tank.
Cons: I'm not sure if the metal is as thick as the factory tank,

"This tank was an exact replacement for a 1986 Chevrolet K-30 truck.The installation was as easy as removing the original tank.Should have bought new mounting straps, would have made it much easier.The orginals were rusted almost through.Very happy with the whole project."

19 Gal. Replacement Gas Tank, January 19, 2007

"I order the 19 Gal. Replacement Gas Tank for my husband's 1977 Ford F150 Truck. He had bought the truck which had been sitting for about 5 years. The gas tank had rusted and we had attempted to clean it up, but the rust kept coming up thru the filters which caused them to stop up and the truck would quit running. He put the new gas tank on and he is thrilled that he has his truck back and running. Thank you JC Whitney for the quick response of my order and shipping the gas tank so quickly. I order the tank and received it within 6 days. I feel this was a record."
