Gas Float Sensor 1955 Chrysler Windsor, June 5, 2008
By Bob41 from BC Canada

Pros: Great instructions
Cons: Flange did not fit my gas tank

"The easy to read and follow instructions made making the specific modifications to use this universal float sensor in my vehicle easy.
The only difficulty I had was the flange that was supplied did not fit my gas tank opening. I had to take the existing flange from the unit I was replacing and reconfigure the new unit to the old flange.
It took about one half hour to make this modification, but the unit worked fine after installation.
Considering the age of my vehicle and the fact that I was even able to get a replacement unit that could be adapted was fortunate.
While I would have liked an exact fit, the extra time taken to modify the unit was worth it.
