Well designed and made,

Pros: Can easily be fitted in various places, easy to see

"Before buying this compass I had bought car compasses from Advance Auto Parts, Walmart and Kmart. Those did not work: the liquid in which the compass was floating leaked out, or the compass lacked adjustment to compensate for the car's magnetic field, or the adjustment did not work. This one costs a little more but it is well worth it. In addition to the light, note the double pivot in the attachment linkage which makes it easier to put the compass exactly where you want it."
