Excellent Purchase,

Pros: Great price on a quality product
Cons: Maybe works too well
"I have a Chevy S-10 Blazer 2dr. 4X4 w/ 260,000 miles on the original springs and needless to say they were sagging badly. I tried helper springs but they did not restore the ride height and made the back suspension quite stiff even w/o a load. I found these springs online at an incredible price compared to dealer replacement parts at less than half the price. Delivery was quick, about 5 days total and installation was fairly straight forward and simple, although I did require the use of some additional jacks and hand winches to line up the bolts in addition to an air wrench to make removal/installation of the old bolts a breeze. I completed the job in about an hour and a half on my own. After driving around a while I noticed the ride was smoother than before and the rear of the vehicle was back to like new height plus some. With an auto trailer loaded with a mid sized car the Blazer was perfectly level. Unloaded the rear is a bit higher than factory though. Guess I'll have to raise the front a bit to keep the front suspension properly aligned. All in all I very happy with the purchase, price, quality, fit and function. JC Whitney has always come through for me. Keep up the good work, JCW!"

Pros: Fit to OEM specs and comes ready to install.
Cons: Taking off old springs and new bolts do not come with purchase.
"These were a great purchase. The stock springs on my Ford Ranger broke so I needed to replace the entire spring. I found lots of add-a-leaf kits but not entire leaf springs to replace the old units. I considered using springs from a junkyard but the only junkyards around were pick a parts so I would have to remove them myself plus I would need my trucks EDI number so I could match the springs. I called Ford, they were able to match the springs by the vehicle ID #, but they wanted as much for one spring as a pair of these alloy steal springs. When they arrived, in one week, I was extremely happy with the quality and these springs had four leaves while the stock units have three. They fit right on, ride quality has never been better, and there is little to no warp. The only draw back is I had to cut off two of the old bolts, and the remainder were so rusty I chose not to use them. I wish these springs came with replacement bolts. Over all a great purchase."

Pros: Easy to buy, easy to install, a perfect experience
Cons: none
"These leaf springs fit perfectly and were easy to install, with everything I needed included. The effect was everything I expected and more. Shipping was right on every step of the way. This is what I have come to expect from JC Whitney and the automotive suppliers they represent.
Thanks JCW!"

Pros: Easy Oem Replacement, No Lift So No Extra Special Parts
Cons: I don't like the shipping stickers that JC puts on the spring itself. Takes a bit to peal, fingernail off
"<1986 Dodge Ramcharger D150 4x4 w/318 2 brl Calif @ 95,000m. Np208 Transfere, Auto Trans, 12 bolt rear. Have not put these springs on, but they look like they will do fine. Definitly have more of an arch in the spring than my original ones. For this truck, it is going to take some time to cut things off. All shackle bolts and front eye bolts have rusted solid to the inner metal tube in the bushings. These areas recieve a lot of weathering over the years of use. I plan on using some tough grease to lube the bolts for the new bushings. Plus undercoating these bushing areas with a rubberized coating. Perhaps this will protect these bolts from weathering and rusting. Looking into using brake fluid for PM on suspension bushings, perhaps this will help too. The 2 bottom leaves on my old leaf springs will be going on these new ones from JC. It will give me a bit more lift and spring, without getting crazy and having to buy special lift shocks, etc. These springs will help re-awaken...The Beast!(-lightening-) from its original glory."

"I got my Leaf Springs within a week of ordering them. They were in great shape. I installed them and my van does not sag anymore, the way its drives now is great. The price was the best i could find anywhere and i looked around. I have to thank JC Whitney for the help i got with Customer Service and the best products anywhere. I will be getting more products from them as i restore my 1988 G20 Van and also when i start to restore my 95 Chevy Corsica"
