"These batteries are a great value. I have bought at least six of these batteries for my CB and CL200, CB and CL175, '72 Triumph Bonneville, and '70 Norton Commando. Yes, they all call for the same battery! Only in one case did I get a defective one, and J.C. replaced it with no hassle. Otherwise, just fill it with acid, place on a trickle charger overnight, and put it in. If you need the vent tube, it is there, as well as bolts and nuts for the cables. A tip for the vent tube, to straighten it, hold it in front of a hair dryer or other heat source (kerosene stove, hot manifold, etc.) and it will straighten right out on its own. It will last for at least a couple years if you keep it charged over the winter. Any half charged battery will sulfate and become useless."

"Please note that this battery is shipped DRY. You must fill it with acid for it to work properly; had to return because I did not realize that this was the case. JCW mentions this last in their description of the item. If you don't mind the hassle of maintaining a battery then this is for you. Its overall construction seems solid."
