Pros: Looks good Cons: Hinges break easily. Be careful. All plastic is very brittle
"I purchased this for my Toyota pick up. It fit nicely and looked good. After about a month of use one hinge broke, which I reglued. A few days later the other hinge broke. Not sturdy at all."

"If you are going to buy this armrest, be very careful with it. The hinges are made of brittle plastic and, as I found after installing it in my Triumph TR6, they don't hold up well after a few months of bumping and hitting."

"I have been looking for a center armrest for my 1984 528E BMW to no avail until now. For the price, it can't be beat. Very easy to install and I highly recommend that you use several screws which can easily be attached via the holes in the legs, to keep the console from moving. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

"This is the only product I could find that would fit between my seats and over the emergency brake. I only wish it was less expensive and had a cup holder. Coated legs would have been nice too so they wouldn't scratch and be scratched so easily."

"not what i expected...you would think they would put a vinyl coating over metal legs...scratched my console up...not the hieight they said it would be for clearance over emergency brake lever...had to put in plastic anchors and snip off as screws didnt hold in product....my thoughts are..don't buy! too cheaply made for the price!"

"I've been looking for a center console for my 90 honda accord for the longest time and now I have found it! It looks great first off and very easy to install but I will bolt it down so that it will not wobble. Other than that I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a hard to find center armrest. Not to mention the PRICE! You can't beat that."

"Works great. Easy to install. It says you dont need to use screws, but I did to keep it from sliding around. Looks factory, very comfortable. Probably actually is "universal" because the armrest is adjustable forward and backward, and the width between the mounting brackets is also adjustable. I only wish it had a latch instead of a magnet, but other than that, it works perfectly, highly recommended."

"This armrest was excactly what I was looking for to raise the level of my existing arm rest. The only problem is if you install it over another armrest the wing nuts on the bottom will scratch it, you must put a barrior between them. Overall, it was a good product for the price and makes my long drives much more comfortable."

"I purchased this for a 1988 Porsche 911. It fit easily and allows for access to the handbrake and heater controls (a 911 thing). I do not permanantly install it. The mounting brackets allow for a tight fit on the center tunnel and I can pull it out when needed (like for track days). The only problem I had was the magnetic latch did not hold properly, the frame/hinge assembly for the top pad is plastic and will deform if the screws are too tight. I had to loosen the screws a little and it worked."

"I installed this in a 2001 Daewoo Lanos Sport as the manufacturer had never produced one. This is a universal item, not specific to any particular model, but it installed easily, was extremely adjustable as far as getting it in just the right location, and looks like it came with the car as a factory installed item. The hinges are a little weak, and I broke them leaning over the console to reach something that had fallen between the passenger seat and door. Since I'm now ordering a replacement, I'm going to install an additional metal hinge between the two plastic ones to give it some additional strength. For the price, this is an amazing value compared to what a factory item would have been if it had been available. Plus this is adjustable, which factory items never are."
