Pros: does everything it is supposed to do Cons: came with a broken shunt indicator
"works very good as long as you use the right welding electrode e6013 iam happy i think it will weld thicker than 1/4 inch steel todd emerson"

"It's a good little machine for small welding jobs. It will weld with a 3/32 electrode. I find the E6011 or E6013 work well. It's very basic but for a home work shop it's the ticket for the price.When I recieved mine via the mail it came with a broken shunt indicator to determine amps. I called Clarke and they gave me no hassles and shipped one straight away. The only draw back is the short electrode and ground clamps. They are 7ft and 5.5ft respectfully. I would have preferred a little longer but like I said it's basic and with a little work I will exchange them for longer leads."
