Clamp-On Convex Mirrors, July 10, 2008

Pros: Compact Size, Easy to Install, Very Clear View
Cons: I had to modify the existing arm as the ends were not flattened on the same side.

"I looked all over for rear view mirrors for my QUAD ATV. No one had exactly what I was looking for until I went online to J.C. Whitney. I took a chance ordering from a photo and was pleasantly surprised to get what I wanted without any hassle. The price was very reasonable and shipping and handling charges didn't clean out my wallet.
The mirrors look nice and are proportioned to the size of the QUAD (Honda Foreman 450). They look like something that would have come from the factory. I mounted them on the front carrier and can view them by looking below the handle bars. The mirrors do not obstruct steering, but you have to position them so they don't. The convex shape gives you more (like the right-hand mirror on a car) to look at and are crisp and clean looking.
I did have to modify the existing arms because the ends were not flattened on the same side, they were alternating. I needed them to be flat on the same side so the mirrors would face to the rear because of how I mounted them. No big deal if you're a little handy with a tool in your hand.
