"These replacement mirrors have the appearance of chromed metal, but are actually part plastic. The mounting device is plastic and will break easily if you're not careful (which is what happened to me). I did manage to mount the mirrors with some modifications. Once on the vehicle they looked pretty good. Care must be taken when adjustments are made or they will break off."
