Pros: large mirror, good visibility
"easily mounted and quickly ready for use. did not work on my particular application, a 2000 chevy 3/4 ton pick-up, lower mount would not adjust out far enough to allow the mirror to sit level. worked well on brothers smaller dodge dakota."

Pros: Easy to install and use. Adequate for 8 foot wide trailer. Cons: A little shake at speed. A bit hard to adjust - requires screwdriver.
"Very easy to install, but watch out for sharp edge on the support arm that angles down toward the door. Large mirror gives good view. If extended to the maximum you'll get a little shake but the image is not excessively blurred. Adjusting the mirror itself requires loosening the clamp on the ball which requires a phillips-head screwdriver. Best to have a helper. But once adjusted, easy on and easy off."

Pros: Big Mirror Cons: none
"I put these on a 2005 chevy colorado, this is not a full size Pickup and proberly at least a foot narrow than a reg PU.. The camper i pulled was a 26 ft by 8 ft. I could see down the sides and just bearly the rear of the camper. they install easly look nice adjust nice, they are the best i have seen for a temp mirror. i realy like the big mirror. On a full size Pickup these would realy work good. I would buy again"

Pros: Great fit, Easy to mount, Seconds to install Cons: NONE!!!
"I purchased this mirror because there was no other product on the market for my vehicle. This is sturdier than the cheap universal clip and strap over mirrors out there. I have a 2004 Dodge Durango and this mirror mounted to it in seconds, was rock solid, nice looking, and works great. Thanks for carrying it. NQ"

Temporary Side Mirror,
May 9, 2008
By 00DOG00from Santa Barbara, California
"For a 2007 Explorer Sport Trac, I bought temp mirrors that fastened to fenderwells from local auto parts vendor for substantially more money. They fastened easily, but didn't extend far enough. In fact they were a fixed length. Plus left mirror was masked by "A" pillar. Bought this mirror from J.C. Whitney for a lot less and as luck would have it, it adjusted out much further. Took some doing to figure out the adjustment on the strap (limited mental capacity) but once figured out, the design genius was much appreciated. Highly recommend this product."

"Bought these after one of my strap on Cipa's fell off. Can be adjusted out far enough to see behind an 8' trailer behind my '06 4Runner. Don't need to be readjusted when you take them off and put back on. Only negative is the window glass screeches when going up and down. Probably can be fixed with a piece of felt."

"These are a great asset when you need mirrors that extend out further than clip ons do. Great visibility, able to see way past the end of a 30 ft. camper that is 8 ft. wide with a midsize Dodge Dakota. Towing is a pleasure and they can be on and off in less than 5 minutes!!! Would recommend to anyone, much better quality than the ones that clip onto existing mirrors!"
