Pros: It fits and seems to hold adjustment.
Cons: Does not match OEM and is not convex.

"Ordered an OEM style passenger side mirror for my '92 Toyota Pickup to replace the one I had ordered a couple of years ago that turned out to be junk. This new mirror does not match the OEM in appearance unlike the last mirror I ordered from here. None the less, it does fit the holes - however, the base plate that is provided did not. The holes had to be "hogged out" to allow the screws to pass. There were no screws provided and since they are visible on this new mirror, I had to find some suitable rust proof screws. On the plus side, this mirror seems to have plenty of friction and holds adjustment when I slam the door(unlike the last replacement.) If this mirror is convex, it must be only slightly so. However, it does give me a working mirror on the passenger side - about right for the money, I guess."

"MIRROR FOR MY 2000 SIVERADO WAS A PERFECT MATCH AND FIT, EASY TO INSTALL, TOOK ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO TAKE OLD ONE OFF, AND PUT NEW ONE ON,WIREING WAS PERFECT, COULDN'T BE EASYER, I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THE MIRROR,WAS SHIPPED IN 4 DAYS, THIS IS MY 6TH ORDER FROM WHITNEYS, OVER THE YEARS, HAVE BEN VERY HAPPY WITH ALL OF THEM. "This mirror was a good buy, it fits perfect, matches the other side exactly, and was easy to install. It does vibrate a bit while driving down the road even though I have tightened the tensioner screw all the way in. It isn't real bad, I can see out of it well. I would buy another one without hesitation."

Cons: The truck manufacturer made the botls and nuts hard to get to.

"The product purchased works and fits like a dream! Installation was a bit trying, but only because GMC made the nuts and bolts tricky to access once the panel was removed. If I hadn't had a Universal connector for my sockets, I'd have been a lot longer getting it done. As it was, my haste (it was starting to rain) and ignorance cause me to drop two 10mm sockets into the truck door. :-("

"1991 Chevy Blaver 4x4 (Full size)
The original mirror is stainless or painted black. I replaced the black with the stainless and was very happy with the ease and fit of the mirror. (with out the dealer price) Takes Philips head screwdriver and a 10 mm socket and ratchet to install. (1/4 inch drive) is easier. Takes about 5 minutes a mirror."

"I had to replace this mirror on my 1997 GMC Yukon after an accident in which the mirror was ripped completely off my vehicle. This mirror is an excellant choice as a replacement,..and besides you really can't tell much difference between the O.E.M. part and this one."

"I used this on my 98 Chevy 1500 4x4. This was for the most part very easy to install. There was only 1 out of 3 bolts that was hard to get to once the door panel was off. That's the fault of Chevy though. Otherwise the part looks identical to the factory one, and was less than half the price Chevy was wanting to charge me for it. I recommend it if you need to replace your mirrors. Easy and looks great."

"These stainless steel mirrors are pretty good construction, not real easy to put on and the passenger side mirror is NOT convex. They are very stable and you can see behind you real good. If the passenger mirror was convex they would be perfect."
