Easy installation - weather stripping,

"I installed this weather stripping in my 1991 Ford Ranger. It really sealed out the whistling air. After reading some of the other reviews, I was a little bit afraid of the weather strip being to short. However, I actually had three or so inches extra. I did not pre-cut the stripping (by using the old piece for a measurement). I installed the stripping, then I cut off the remainder. I cut a section off of the piece that was left over and inserted it into stripping joint to make the door weather strip continuous. Oh, did I mention - I'm not your average male mechanic - I'm a female. I highly recommend this product. It's easy to install. The hardest thing to do is to take all that interior molding off, so you can install the stripping.

"purchased door seals for a 1970 VW. Seal was made to large and had to cut it in two places for it to fit right. Had to cut outer lower corner off and make new right angle, also had to remove 3 inches on hindge side to balance out the size. Removed about 10 inches to make fit right."

"I purchased the door weatherstrip for my 77 toyota. First I am very pleased that I could find this part from one of my continued suppliers. Second they were very professional with helping me with my order. The strip was easy to install, however I have found that it doesn't match up correctly with the top corner of the door,(starting point of installation). I have yet to find a way to correct this problem."

"I have a 1986 Buick Lesabre Limited two door. You can not find any around like it. I ordered the door seals from here and installed them. Before I installed them my old seals were leaking water every time it rained and the seats and floor boards would be soaked. Also you would always hear wind coming in driving down the road that you would have to turn the music up. After installing the seals from JCWhitney I have not heard any wind and my car is always dry inside. My wife wanted me to run the water hose on the window to prove it would work and she was amazed, no leaks and yes I squirted the hose directly on the door were it was leaking before. It was well worth the money and I recommend this product to everyone."

"I was surprized and relieved by the perfect fit The original weather stripping was glued on. This weather stripping was self clamping for a better fit and seal. A must if you own an early model 70's/80's full size Dodge P/U or Ramcharger."

"This is the second time I have ordered this product. The first time was for an '89 S-10,( 6 years ago ) this time was a '95 S-10 4WD. The first time I installed this kit was an absolute breeze, it was a base modle truck with nothing to remove but the old weatherstrip. This time took a little effort, due to having a "nicer" truck I had to remove some trim pieces. It took me about 45 minutes per door to install due to the trim removal, making sure that it was installed as snug as possible, then going back over it with a piece of wood and a 12oz hammer to make sure it was seated properly. Had about 8" of excess to trim of even after all of the above "tight" fitting. I used this same process with my first truck and never had any issues. Good quality product and easy to install."
