Great Item,
December 9, 2008
By Anonymous Reviewerfrom Salt Lake City, UT
Pros: Good sound and decent volume Cons: not a full ending sound, seems to be missing all the auuuuugah
"I installed this on my Dodge Full size van and it makes people notice me. Several also wonder where the sound comes from. I replaced the original horn with this one and it does pass the vehicle safety inspection."

Pros: easy to install, loud tone Cons: Lots of aa and oo no gah
"Not quite as I expected, is very loud but seems to miss the gah tone. I had an originaal once that I liked better. But does turn heads."

"I just installed the 7th one on a golf cart this week. Everyone seems to like them, great for parades, etc. I live in The Villages, Fl., where everyone has a golf cart of some kind and type. I have a custom cart (1930's Ford style), I have this horn installed on it also. The sound is good but would be a little better if the trumpet was metal instead of plastic."

"I have a tricked out Z71 (2002) Silverado and under the hood there lies a hidden head turner, no not just POWER but this awesome OOOGAH Horn . I really use it mainly when I travel the expressawys and speeders FLY by me , instead of waving I give em a toot The install I did myself, with a little time (1 hr appprox). I found mounting on the radiator brace between radiator and battery (left side) pointed horn downward. Also extended the button cable to accomodate a secret in console hookup. Love to go by FORD Dealers and give them BLAST or Two! I love this product and have great fun with it . would do it all over again on my next vehicle! A good weekend project."

"As an "aa-oo-ga" horn, this is big on "oo"; precious little "aa-" and "-ga". Buy it if you want that motorized-horn sound as a continuous note. It's a bit clackey; I think the plastic trumpet isn't stiff enough, and is too short. If you were thinking of the submarine diving alarm sound, well, I think those must have a hefty flywheel, because this doesn't sound like that. Still probably a fair option for classic car enthusiasts. (After 2 hours and 3 transistors, it STILL doesn't sound like a submarine diving alarm. But I did always want one of these.)"

"The Sound is not as good as my orginal horn that died on me. Disappointed that the front is made of plastic, kind of cheap looking. Still can't find a good place under hood to install."

"This is the best horn for anyone. It is the best for old cars and trucks. You can wake up the city with this horn and have a lot of fun with it. It is so easy to install and don't forget a horn button if you don't want it working with the orignal horn."
