"Although it did take a little longer than 3 minutes to install (as advertised), from start to finish the Bugflector took about 30 minutes to install (I took my time because I had to remove the grille). All I needed was a 10mm socket wrench to install it, and like advertised...no drilling. Mount is good and solid, and it looks awesome on my '04 F-150."

Pros: It is equiped with the tough and durable polymer just as is says. It went on in no more than 10 minutes. Cons: none
"I am pleasantly suprised at how durable it was at such a great price. I would definately advise anyone to get this bug shield. I did drill screws in it to ensure the grip to the hood. I placed the shield on a 1989 Ford F-150 regular cab. I am fully satisfied!!!"

"Okay, I'm a chick, and I thought that bug deflectors were something macho guys put on their trucks to make them look cool. I never really got it that bugs gross out your hood until hubby bought me a white, 2004 Avalanche...Big Blanche. My baby. My queen. The love of my life. (Look, the kids are grown...give me a break!)
In any case, after driving my white wonder around for a month or so, I got really tired of the bugs on the hood and asked hubby what he thought I should do about it. His answer: Get a BUG DEFLECTOR. Duh?
As it turns out, bug deflectors really DO keep bugs off of your hood. What a pleasant surprise! Installation was a snap (did it myself once I found the screwdriver), with the added bonus of hubby getting to be right about something for the first time in 20 years. I'm also pleased to report that Blanche LOOKS FABULOUS with her new accessory!
The material that the deflector is composed of is very sturdy and the color is perfect. Only the two center screw holes matched up under the hood, but once the screws were in place, nothing moved. Even when I drive fast, there is no give in the deflector and, again, it looks great and does its job. A quality product, indeed."
