Pros: Self priming Cons: Short intake and discharge hoses.
"This is a good product. I like the fact that the pump does not need to be primed. Very clean opeation if you have the right length of hose. I would recommend."

Good but slow and limited reach,
August 22, 2008
By quint9from Fort Worth, TX
Pros: Keeps you from having to drain the oil Cons: Power cord and intake tube too short
"I bought this pump to change the oil in all of my vehicles and mower. It works well but the power cord and the oil intake tube could be longer. It can get difficult to find a place to sit the pump where it will be close enough to the car's dipstick tube and also close enough to the battery for the wires and tube to both reach. Even if it is right next to the oil dipstick tube, the pump's intake tube is too short for some cars. I had to go to Lowes and buy a longer piece of tubing (about 35 cents)for my Nissan so that it would reach all the way to the bottom of the oil pan."

"works but plastic do not contact hot engine. hoses could be longer had to be 8 inches from trans dipstick tube to reach bottom of pan. does the jop of pumping trans fluid in about 45 seconds.Saves that mess when removing auto trans pan.I also change trans fluild ever 2,000 with pump only.then every 10,000 drop pan and do filter.really extends the life of a trans. i had a aerostar that had 160000 miles with no trans problems and my friends and others with the same trans who followed owners manual specs never made it past 50,000 miles without a rebuild."
