Pros: Good installation, good sound quality.
Cons: Extras required for installation. Clock function only present during MODE selection.

"Installed in a 1992 Ford Explorer. Did not need extra installation kit #22301G for the installation. Stereo fit in dash with minor filing of dash opening. Extra wiring connectors were needed to make stereo work (available at local parts store). Clock function is only temporary and only visable with MODE function button pushed. Does not stay on as described in the operating instructions when ignition key is turned off. Does have good sound quality with OEM speakers for all functions (radio AM/FM, CD, and Tape)."

AM/FM CD & cassette tape in dash unit, November 14, 2006

"Installation pretty stright forward, good instructions. Labeling wires a big help in install. Installation in a 1999 Toyota RAV 4 required only slight modification to the plastic trim panel on the dash. Unit fit nicely into available space. I was able to use mounting brackets from the factory radio to mount the new unit. Sounds good using the stock speakers in the RAV 4.

Only complaints are that CD's and cassette tapes must be manually inserted pretty far into unit before it engages. The eject for both does not expose much of the CD or cassette for manual removal. This is most troublesome for CD's since manual removal requires grabbing the recorded area of the CD increasing opportunity for damage. The control buttons are also a little small and multiple functions of each button take some getting used to."
