Pros: Has two temp. settings
Cons: Takes a few minutes to warm up completely
"I was not going to have high expectations when I ordered this product, but it turns out they work fantastic. I have a new vehicle with a black interior so they match up nicely on the seat, and on the "high" setting they get very toasty, only it takes several minutes to achieve this. Also my wife loves them. For the price, quality, and versatility this can not be beat. They are not as glamorous as seat heaters that would be installed permanently, but they are also not $750."

Good for Moab Winters,
January 5, 2009
By redroxx

Pros: Warms up quickly, easy to use
Cons: None
"If you want this product for a fancy city vehicle then buyer beware as I read the other product reviews that they don't fit certain seats or look cheap. But, for off-roading in the Moab winter with no doors or heat in your rockcrawler, this is an amazing product. I bought two of these as gifts (one for my husband) and they've been well received, warm up quickly, and once you get enough mud on them you can't tell the leather looks "plasticy". More than worth the money."

Heated Seat Cushion,
December 18, 2008
By Timbo01

Pros: It heats quickly.
Cons: Doesn't stay in position real well.
"I bought one for both my wife and daughter and I'm a real hero. I decided not to wait until Christmas as it was already cold here. They both commented how quickly the heaters work - before they get to the corner. A real good deal for my money."

HEATED SEAT CUSHIONS,
February 19, 2008
By 05Dyna

Pros: does the job
Cons: The lower section *could* move if not tied down
"This was a great alternative instead of getting my heated seat repaired at the dealer. The dealership would have had a field day with me on this since the warranty expired a few years ago. This was the way to go for an 8 year old car with a defective heated seat. After it arrived we immediately purchased 2 more for our other car (that didn’t have heated seats). This is a very nice feature on a cold day"

Great for the price,

Pros: Warms up fast
Cons: cheap straps
"Like everyone else, straps are cheap. For the price they work great, warm up fast and they are comfortable. I am ordering more for my boat, they will be great for winter fishing on Lake Michigan and on the rivers."

Heated seats are nice,
November 30, 2007
By Dwayne

Pros: no need to replace seats
Cons: none
"I plan on buying two of the heated seats. It's no big deal about no on/off switch for the heated seat cuchions. All you have to do is install a cigarette lighter outlet wired into the fuse block {already fused} to work with the key. The car is running, you have power to the heated seat cushion, the car is off, no power to the seat cushion. Very simple to install. Outlet you can buy anywere."

Hot seat,
February 23, 2007
By SunnySouth

"Purchased the cushion for a 2006 GMC pickup, for long trips. Product is very fast and efficient. Two criticisms: Elastic that goes around seat to hold it in place is too small for the seats. Velcro straps or something like that might work better. Second, seat does not have a variable heat control. Sometimes it would be nice to have it heat up hot, other times a nice low heat would be nice.
Clearly less expensive than trying to install a heated seat!!"

I love my heated seat cushion,
February 15, 2007
By JCWCustomer

"I love my heated seat cushion. I work on the second shift, so now when I get in my car I plug it in and I'm warm before my car heater warms up. The cushion heats up fast (like 3 to 4 minutes). I only wish it did have auto shut-off, it's only a matter of time before I forget to unplug it. I would highly reconmend this product to my friends."

Very Satisfied,
December 28, 2006
By LuckySteve

"Works very well for the money. One can feel the heat in a few moments and it continues warming from there. Cost is a fraction of the option in a brand new car, especially when one can't afford that cost. It would be nice if the straps were a little more robust, but inexpensive auxillary straps can probably be picked up at a sewing shop, nothing fancy is needed, if at all. A shut off timer and/or heat adjustment would be nice as well, but on the other hand, the price is good as is. To anyone thinking of buying one...go ahead, it's nice on cold mornings."

will work for the money,
November 18, 2006
By ColdToosh

"Purchased for 1975 full size ford pickup. Item advertised with temperture control and auto shut off. Didn't have either one. Remember to unplug. Needs to be four inches wider and six inches taller (for back) to make it more comfortable. Great price and it does heat well. Would recommend with the understanding it needs to be larger. Will be nice on those zero degree mornings."

Warm your sitter economically,
November 2, 2006
By Fulcrum
from Callaway County, MO

"As I have aged with my '98 Dodge Dakota, the creaks, aches and stiffness associated with 'maturity' have made cold weather and hard work more difficult for both of us. Neither of us like winter much, and find it a little harder to get started and longer to get warmed up.
The nylon heated seat cushion offers such warm comfort to my old hips and lumbar region, I hate to leave the seat once it heats up--which takes less than ten minutes. I'm thinking of ordering one for my recliner.
Although it installs easily, and is simple to use, I wish the little red light indicating it is working were brighter and more obvious. Although the instructions clearly direct the user to turn off and unplug the unit from the cigarette lighter when the ignition is turned off, I know it is only a matter of time until I forget to do that, and the battery will be drained, the seat cold, and my ire (at myself) hot when I try to get started in the morning.
Heated seats are an expensive option on new vehicles, standard on only the top-line models. The heated seat cushion is a bargain at a fraction of that cost and it makes driving downright therapeutic."
