Pros: Gas mileage gain of 1 to 2 mpg. Also Weapon-R included the RAM Air intake, Thanks! Cons: Installation of connectors is a little difficult
"The Weapon-R Intake performs as advertised. I have seen a 1-2 mpg increase in gas mileage over the last month. Installation was a little tricky. The connectors provided were very difficult to install on my MAF sensor. (I had to put oil on them to make them slip onto the MAF. Also the pcv hose provided has a small diameter which fits well on the Weapon-R intake, but I had to cut a piece of my pcv hose and insert the Weapon-R hose into it. I tried to push the Weapon-R hose on the valve cover fitting, but the hose split after driving a few weeks. Overall the QUALITY of the Weapon-R is GREAT! I would recommend it, but if installing it yourself have a lot of patience and allow a few hours to do it."

A complete waste of money,

Pros: Looks great and very easy to install Cons: Mileage and HP is noticeably worse
"Do not buy this product! I own a 2005 Honda Element. I was consistantly getting 20-21 MPG on my 66 mile round trip commute to work. There is also one long hill on the toll road that I thought I was having to downshift way too soon to get to the top while maintaining speed. I thought the WR Secret weapon would be the answer to my problem. Boy was I wrong. After four tanks of gas now I'm only getting 18-19 MPG and I'm having to downshift even sooner on the hill. On my next day off I will reinstall the factory intake system. Maybe this just doesn't work on Hondas. I just realized that even if the manufacturer claims were true, it would take a very long time to pay for itself in the so called mileage increases."

"i added this air intake to my malibu maxx. The throttle response is awesome!! There are a few things i didn't like. First off, its advertised as a custom fit, well actually its not. I didn't use the tubing that came with it. Seems to me you would get better air flow from a straight tube then a flex tube. The brackets that it came with are pointless i had to custom make one. There is also a litte chrome angle neck that comes with it that need to be longer. Other then that i enjoying having the extra power even if its in a malibu."

"the process took me about 2-3 hours. the hard part was taking everything out the car the eaiser part was installing it in the car. My civic 06 sounds like a ferrari.. It just roars very loud especially wen u rev it to the red line."

Pros: power, sound Cons: definitely not custom-fit as stated
"2003 Toyota Tundra V8. feels awesome, sounds awesome. worth price. as far as custom fit: every vehicle can change every year and even mid year. guessin that's what happened to me. Tech support stated they fabricated kit on a 2002 model year. modifications needed to fit onto throttle body, had to cut tube in 2 places on either end to fit lengthwise, original screws to mount MAF didn't fit into threaded holes provided, MAF needed a little shave to fit onto air tube, air filter was sitting back by firewall before my mods, heat shield needed to be cut. I was able to get it all to line up perfectly with original air intake on fenderwell, though, so it looks perfect now. Can't blame weapon-R, though, they were always just a phone call away and extremely polite."

"For being short ram, this intake is amazing, I noticed many differences. I drive a 1992 Honda Prelude, Automatic, H23(non vtec) and I used to run a 11.2 8th mile, now i run a 10.9. A definite must for starters."

Pros: Easy to install, sharp looking, sounds great. Cons: Install illustration reversed, power increase ??
"Other than the pictured installation being reversed the system installed easily. Put it in my 04 Tiburon GT V6. Really roars when rapping up between 3K and 5500. Hasn't improved milage, but seems to have given a boost to torgue in mid to high RPM's. Sounds like a supercharger kicked in. Worth the money just for the sound and minor power boost."

"Totally worth it. Installed on my 01 Monte 3.4 liter. Need to take the entire airbox unit out for this to fit. Unhinge the wire clamps and pull the MAF wires as far as you can, you'll need it. I had to cut my old airbox housing in half to make a seat for the ECU. After the install (about 60 minutes) I noticed an immediate improvement in short line acceleration (0-30) And when I punch it on the hwy you can hear the deeper sound. My MPG went up by 2 also"

"The weapon r system is great. I installed it on my 2.5 rs impreza 3 weeks ago and have no complaints. It has a great deeps sound, and i have increased power throughout all of the gears. Gas milage has increased a bit when im not on the pedal.......very rare. All in all a great system"

"Just installed the secret weapon intake on my 1989 honda accord only one part mising from the box not JC Whitneys falt thoe instal was very quick. The hardest part about instaling was taking the old air box off my car, all in all took about one hour. The price was great for what you get even comes with filter cleaning kit. My car really getts up now and my MPG is better then its ever been plus it sounds way cool!"

"I have a Pontiac Grand Am Se 2001 2.4L L4. This product is very well built and fits right where the factory intake was. It also looks good and i can tell a little difference in hp. I haven't had it long enough to see if i am getting better fuel mileage but im sure i will. It only took about 30 mins for installation. Overall i think the Weapon R air intake was well worth the money."

The good: Practically everything. Easy install. Actually seems like it was designed just for your vehicle. Very noticeable power gain in the upper rpm range, but sound is incredible just for a short ram at any rpm range.
The bad: Not carb legal. lil pricey for a short ram intake, not jc whitneys fault though.
Had an AEM SRI heard about this one so i got it. Prefer this one."

"I have a 2002 Subaru Impreza RS, I have seen so much more out my car performance I have to say for a Aftermarket Air Intake its one of the better ones i have seen and the sounds that it gives off at high RPMs are great. Its definitely worth the money.

"I have a 2003 Dodge Neon. The Secert Weapon air intake system fits right where the factory one was. I was like most people when i bought an aftermarkit air intake i didnt see what the big point in it was. After talking to one of the works about what the differents in the air intakes was he sad that the Secert Weapon make a air vortex that pulls air into the filter, and that would increses horse power and gas milage for my car. After swiching from the factory air intake to the Secert Weapon air intake i was so much more pleased with how my car preformed compared to the factory air intake. Its really easy to install. It is construted really well and over all it looks tight under the hood.... It is deffently worth the money. It has payed for its self in how many more miles i get to the gallon now that i have it installed"
