"I purchased the mount to mount my Magellan 700 Roadmate prior to riding to Clarksville, Tennessee. It was real easy to mount. I marginally like the product but some adjustments had to be made to make it fit my application. 1) I had to drill holes in the plate to mount the quick disconnect attachment for the Roadmate. 2) After attaching roadmate to the quick disconnect it would not stay in position while I was riding. I had to constantly keep adjusting the head so I could read the Roadmate. 3) No matter how tight I tighten the allen screws, the plate would not stay in position.
Other than those few minor problems, I would recommend the product to a friend. I believe this peoduct will work great for a Tom Tom but not a Roadmade in the 700 class.
If I manufactured this product, I would make countersink holes in the ball under the swivel head to keep the head from moving while the motorcycle is moving."
