Great for working on wheels & chain,
October 16, 2008
By KennesawGuyfrom Kennesaw, GA
Pros: easy assembly, lifts effortlessly
"I have a Vulcan 800; good attachment points on the jack base for straps to hold the bike in place. Lift is simple to operate and seems very stable. Makes easy work of working on tires/brakes/chain.
I wish the rubber supports that contact the bike were just a little wider; this is just barely wide enough so I can support the bike on the frame vs. the engine."

Motorcycle Lift,
May 1, 2008
By FreeSpiritTravelerfrom I travel the US fulltime in an RV
Pros: Good price, well built, easy to put together
"I find this jack to be well built, easy to use.I needed to put new tires on my 2003 Yamaha Roadstar. It fit under my bike perfectly, lifted it with no effort and the best part is that it cost the same as the bike shop would have charged me to remove both wheels. And now I have my own jack. It`ll be so much easier to clean the rims now and I can sit on a small stool instead of getting on my knees or sitting on the floor to work on my bike.I am very pleased and would recommend this to anybody who wants a well built lift at a good price."

It's good for the money,
April 23, 2008
By Rebelmajykfrom Akron, OH
Pros: It's inexpensive and great for people on a budget Cons: The minimum height can be an issue
"When I received the lift, I noticed that one of the locks on one of the casters was broken. Not a real big deal, the other one still locks. Unfortunately, I will also have to add blocks of wood to the pads because they hit the exhaust and not the frame. Overall, for the price, it's a great buy and very functional."

High Jacked,
April 18, 2008
By Rucksackfrom Euless, Texas
Pros: Lifts the bike with little efffort; light weight; durable Cons: Does not fit under bike; all wheels should turn. That's why it is only 4 stars
"I like that I can move the bike out of the way at the end of the day, so my wife does not worry as she drives her car in and out of garage. Used it yesterday to change my oil and fix a flat tire...WOW! I am pleased with the purchase. I wish it was a tad lower so it could roll easily under the bike. I solved this problem by placing a board under thr rear wheel before rolling jack into place. Works great! Buy one today!!!"

Handy tool,
January 10, 2008
By sbjakeccfrom Cape Cod, MA
Pros: Right tool for the right job Cons: Minimum clearance too high
"Would not quite fit under my 1998 Suzuki 1400 Intruder. I solved the problem by driving the rear wheel up onto a 2"x6" board. Once in place the unit makes working on the bike so much easier."

Cycle Hydraulic Lift,
January 10, 2008
By floridajhawkfrom Florida Military
Pros: Ease of use Cons: Maneuverability
"There was a review about not being able to lift any motorcycle/ATV, which was good because it barely clears going under my 03 Harley softail. No good instructions but really not difficult to understand either. All casters should be able to rotate 360 degrees instead of just the two, that way the bike could be pivoted instead of turned. The handle should/could be used to lock and release the hydraulic jack while seated on the bike. This would make it a lot easy to determine the bikes balance before it clears the floor. Operationally speaking it works well as advertised. Good Price!"

Pros: good value Cons: could be about one inch lower for minimun requirement
"I have a great 1987 Goldwing, after paying $62.00 for a oil change thought this product would be great, and it is, but barely fits under bike! This is a money saver! Thank you J.C."

Motorcycle/ATV Jack,
November 20, 2007
By TCRIXfrom SW Michigan
Pros: Excellent price/value Cons: casters could be a little better quality but I can fix that.
"I use the Jack with a Honda Shadow VT700, a Honda Recon ATV and a Yamaha 250 ATV. I had to build a small jig for the motorcycle but with that the jack works perfectly."

Cycle Lift,
September 14, 2007
By Unclefrom Wisconsin
Pros: A good value. Easy to put together. Easy to store. Cons: Measure the clearance under your bike before you buy!
"I purchased this ATV/Cycle lift at a good price from JCW. Unfortunately, it was too high for my lowered Sportster. I sold it on consignment at local independent motorcycle shop for nearly what I paid for it so there really wasn't any monetary loss, just time and disappointment. Again, probably a very good product but if you can't fit the jack underneath your bike, what good is it? Measure clearances before you buy!"

Like the jack,
July 12, 2007
By 8ballfrom Catonsville, Md
Pros: inexpensive
"I have an '05 Yamaha Roadstar and the specs state the clearance at 5.7 inches. Like the other reviews stated, it didn't fit under my bike. I took 3 small peices of 2x10 and road up on 2 and put the kick-stand on the other. Works fine now. For the price, it was worth it. It's great for cleaning the wheels and rims so your not on your hands and knees."

"I love the lift it raises nice and high, locks in place automatically!Easy to assemble 15min. with one Allen wrench. My motorcycle is a 2004 Triumph Bonneville and weighs 560lbs. The only thing that could use some improvement is the wheels especially the two swivel wheels. but for the price it is a very good buy and the wheels are easy to upgrade."

"I just received my new jack today and was so excited about using it for the first time. Completed the little assembly that is required and went to move it under by 2006 Kawaski 900 Classic and the jack was too high. Before I put the hydrolic jack on it would of been just right. I will have to return the jack and keep looking for one that will fit."

"The minimum heighth given in your catalogue is incorrect. It says there is a 4 1/2" minimum when it is actually 5 1/2" or greater. The clearance on my bike is 5" and therefore I had to return the lift. While you paid for the return shipment it was still inconvenient to disassemble the unit, repackage and take it to a shipper several miles away. Otherwise it may have been ok as far as quality is concerned. My bike is a 2004 Honda Sabre 1100cc."
