Great Upgrade from OEM Brake Pads, July 15, 2009

Pros: Reduced Distance, Better Initial Pedal Feel, More Linear
Cons: More noise when braking, No Shoes Available for Rear Drums

"I got these brake pads and the drilled and slotted rotors for our 1999 Pontiac Montana (RWB) when it needed new front brakes. After very carefully following the break in instructions, I am amazed at the braking performance offered by this combination. Initial bite is very confidence inspiring, press harder and you just stop quicker. At maximum braking with ABS, the stopping distances are substantially shorter. The only downside is that they don't make the matching shoes for the rear drums (in my van, they only contribute about 10% to overall braking) and these pads are slightly louder when braking then the OEM's.
These pads impressed me enough for me to consider them for my Miata !"

BUY THESE, July 2, 2009

Pros: Great stopping power, quiet, low dust, low cost, resist fading
Cons: they do fade if pushed too hard repeatedly

"Installed on front of subaru legacy used for commuting and paper delivery. These pads are a good upgrade over stock or regular pads. They have great stopping power without grabbing - very progressive to foot pressure. They are normal under normal use, but when you need it they can perform. when repeatedly pushed hard they resist fading, but eventually will. Seem to heat up faster than ordinary pads - I guess because they are higher friction. They seem to cool and recover very quickly.
I do not know how they wear, but even if they wear out faster than others, it is worth it to have Great brakes when you need them! JC Whitney prices are so low on these! I am ordering the rear pads now! I recommend these to everyone!"
